"Congratulations kendog"

Well, I really do think I have a bit of an addiction. Take a look here (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=32223) for my last thread dealing with this affliction.

I have now had my 750 for just under a month and have already made several little changes to make the bike as individual as I can (not as easy with a GSXR as it was with the Hornet)

The mods so far:

Indicators:
Replaced the front indicators with some lenses from Clear alternatives. Blends nicely with the mirror now. I also ordered brake lenses from them, but they sent me the wrong item.

Screen:
Replaced with a dark smoke double bubble. Better wind protection and looks nicer.

Wheel trim:
Added some blue rim tape and Suzuki racing stickers. Just for looks.

Stickers:
Removed almost all of them. Front, side, tail, warning, tank. This has probably changed the look of the bike the most so far. It looks much cleaner I think.

Levers:
Replaced with Pazzo racing shorts, black with blue adjusters. Had these on the Hornet and love them.

Bar ends.
The left side one was missing when I got home from Tauranga (losing the left side is a common problem with this bike apparently). Bay city motorcycles were great and sent another one. Have now installed Motivation weighted bar ends. No more buzz in the grips.

Frame sliders:
Motivation sliders up front and Motivation bobbins at the back.

Rear passenger pegs:
Removed these

Frame hole caps:
Picked up a set of caps on Ebay that fill the holes in the frame.

Previous mods done when I bought the bike:

Tail tidy:
Removed the ugly tail section.

Air filter:
Has a K&N fitted

Exhaust baffle:
Has been removed? Not sure what this means or if it is really better/louder.

Headlight guard:
Ventura guard fitted.

Future mods under consideration:

Exhaust:
Something louder and lighter please.

Rear sets:
Would like black and something that removes the vibrations in the feet.

Seat:
Would like a colour design that matches the bike. Also some new foam for comfort. McDonald trimmers here I come.

Tinted headlight cover:
Not sure about this one, will see what it looks like.

R1 throttle
Swap the stock throttle with one from the R1, to get the 1/4 turn to full throttle.

The first picture is the bike as I got it. The next three are as it is now.

Very nice. Once you start modifying it's very hard to stop.

LOL Terminal!!!!

I was told to say
"Brilliant write up and that is one shit hot looking bike".

The truth is more like
"Good god, stop spending money on it already!":dodge: At least he's making it look less like a GSXR and cooler for me to ride! hehe:shutup:

Looks good 'dog! Yup, the decal-ectomy sure has cleaned it up nicely, less is definitely more.

Those mirrors definitely need some fluffy dice. And a nodding dog whose eyes lit up when the brakes were applied would look way cool on the pillion seat.

Ronin and I were trying to think of a name for you Nigel (none that Trudi have for you are appropriate :nono:) and we came up with:

Bling Kong (mine)
King of Bling (R's)

...there must be some better ones out there somewhere!

Haven't been for a decent blast for a little while, and the weather is crap today  . Kwaka stickers, are you crazy?

Work got in the way, damn it.

Far from it, love the fact it is a 750. Just looks a lot better without them me thinks.

Not sure I want to hear that about my baby.

I wouldn't worry bout it mate, he may have ridden it like they're supposed to be... but he also looked after it well. the 99 R1 he had before that was immaculate.
