Is there no such thing as a warning anymore????
The very lovely constable ess.. said they are doin a blitz?? and that 61k,s in a fiddy k zone is a big:nono:
In the last coupla years i thought its bout time to go with the flow, and conform a little when it comes to the filth:innocent: .. However through this learning period i have come to the conclusion that this does not work.. and stopping does NOT pay, unless you are dressed in blue.
I tried the nicey nicey approach.. but guess wat.
So it has finally dawned on me. When out on a ride, in the beautifull sunshine.. taking in the scenery(not the speeedo, for a minute), and the gang in blue are on the prowl.. FLOOR IT!!! :shit: stopping defineatley does not pay.
sorry bout the whynin, i feel betta now.

Ha ha ha bugger... I have been going by the 10% thing .... so max in a 50=55and 70 max being 77, ...that is their general tolerance???
I do not aggree with speeding in urban areas, just to much chance of shite happening. Though I must admit, it is bloody easy for the machine to creep up a little

No pinghas to be had in giving out warnings mate. At 61 in a 50 you'd be close to being a mass murderer. Personally I wouldn't run for 61 in a 50. It sucks but its just the way it is, wank bloody road policing policy.

Mate a bit of news for you, while I have been known to have picked up a few demerit points for exceeding the speed limit so technically can not criticise your speeding, there is good reason for 50km speed limits in built up areas not least of which is the unseen hazard of kids who can appear from no where.........no sympathy from me either in this case.........slow down in built up areas! If you are stupid enough to get pinged for it, then dont double the dork factor by posting here whining about it and expecting sympathy:done:

Thanks guys for your comments. I realise i was in the wrong.. but surely when the conditions are good, i.e weather, vis, traffic etc etc... there could be some leniency?? i mean it takes more concentration to stay dead on the speed limit than actually ridin the blinkin thing...
Thanks again for your comments they will be duelly noted over the next 3 months off the road.

There is/was leniency - the limit was 50, you got around 10Kmph grace. There has to be a limit, otherwise we could all lay claim to being allowed to go faster due to the weather, tyres, experience, handling etc.

I know where you're coming from though dude, being done for 61 must feel shitty - but if we all had our own personal speed limits....

Yeah s'ppose. I normally stick to the 50k thing in built up areas. I am merely referring to the setting up speed traps at the end of passing lanes, or at the bottom hills type behaviour the snakes like to do.

Bit of a hypocrite really as I get well shitty at the wankers hooning up spinnaker dr.

Considering how often they take the barriers out at the end of that road .. yeah I guess you would be shitty :)

I've got relies that have substantial bach on the Thames coast. They complain that, their part of the coast 50km for 2km is where all the friggin motorcycle groups try to get past all the traffic, because it's a nice straight bit. He actually said to me that he wouldn't care if they got killed doing the Coro loop. It floored me because I felt I was as bad as any boy racer at times, and cos people will do what he complained of in built up areas to get ahead of the traffic. Hey I'm as guilty as everyone here. BUT I don't want people dancing on my grave .
