Hi Ronnie - welcome to KB. There are a few of us in Chch who into adv riding. Some of us did a similar ride via Random Spur Road that is off Brophys Road that is off Mina Road from Cheviot. It is a dirt road that connects to the Ethelton - Culverden Road.
