Sharland creek provides some good rides but my handlbars and plastics get a little tired of the rock base (as do the tyres). Are there other good rides within 30 mins that provide more of a mix of mud, bush and single track ??

Yeah, missed this years Lake station but last years was great, the first time I've ridden anywhere other than Sharlands / Maitai and the first time I could go hard out without worrying about getting too damaged in a fall. We just need more.
Might have to try the Moutere/Tasman area but don't know the trails, hate to go the wrong way on an un-official one-way loop :shutup:

'84, off trademe, apart from riding it on to the ferry I havn't ridden it but it looks and sounds pretty sweet.
Nelson seems to have a decent VMX scene so I thought I would give it a blast.
