Greetings,

Just heard that the latest Dakar comes with paniers as standard.

- Does anyone else know of any other changes for the latest edition?

And who sells them cheapest?

Hi

Yes the new ones do come with Panniers with the bikes
I know this applies to the 650 Dakar, and the 650GS

I have seen them new for $15995 somewhere

Go to www.bmw.co.nz and click on the motorcycle link and follow your nose from there, tells you all about them

Thanks Zukin,

I went to a local 'approved' seller but they knew nothing...

Need to test ride one, but finding one is hard work !

Have you tried these guys (http://www.bmwmotorrad.co.nz/centre_locator/centre_locator_index.aspx) in CHCH?

Or complete this (http://www.bmwmotorrad.co.nz/contact/contact_index.aspx?url=../contact/test_ride_application.aspx) from on the NZ website and see what happens?

Cheers Scott

They're not actually panniers, that's just BMW-speak for "cardigan dispensers", I think the optional top box is the pipe rack and tobacco humidor....

Don't think the panniers are up to much. Every 650 I see over here with panniers have them held together with duct tape. Topbox, on the other hand, is fine.
