A guy in Croatia kindly spent a lot of time and effort (his english is not used much, so he had to work really hard to get the words together) to tell me about his GS500F, plus telling me about how biking used to be in Croatia!

Hope you find it as interesting as I did - I was really charmed by his efforts, so hope my editing did it justice.

Thanks Bob (and thanks, Sid!) I really enjoyed the read. Either his English is very good or the editor did a great job.

Sid's english is - as I mentioned above - little used. That said, it was very easy to follow his 'path' of thinking as he detailed things by and large in good order, so it made my editing job remarkably simple... and very enjoyable... to do.

I genuinely was quite touched at the work that went into doing what he did. He initially came up with just a few words about the GS500F. So I went back and suggested he say a little more about the bike and possibly something about his biking history (he had told me he had been away from biking for quite a time) - and the result of the collaboration you've seen.

Very satisfying article to work on. So very pleased you enjoyed the results.
