Mrs Oldrider and I are seriously contemplating being there, we have sorted accommodation and have worked out where it is to be held etc and how to get there. (City traffic willing)

We have checked the weather forecast and been for a test ride (I have injured my back) to Alexandra and back today, partly to see if I can ride the distance OK.

It looks like we just might be able to get there but if my back gets worse in the meantime we may just have to flag it.

I am looking forward to meeting John before he goes back home.

For me he is an inspiration, the way he has fronted up physically, emotionally and mentally to one of life's great challenges!

I admire tough people like him and his family.

Also an opportunity to say gday to KB'rs that I know and maybe to meet some new ones. Cheers John.

Liz - what time will you be turning up to the F&F and what time do you suggest for dindins?

Oldrider - I will see if I can put some signs up at the F&F so people don't miss it :dodge: Hope your back comes right and you make it up John. I find a full length back protector helps support my back a lot on the bike - and somehow makes me look slimmer

Cyall tomorrow

Well there it goes, the clock has ticked over to the no-go time.

We will not be coming to Christchurch today to share the drinks and Pizza with IL4 and you guys tonight.

Sorry John, was looking forward to meeting you too, all the best for your home coming and hope everything goes well for you from here on.

We will hopefully look you up next time in the Naki.

Everything was set to go but the wind has been relentless!

I am not averse to the weather/wind but I don't want Mrs O to be sitting there worrying about things for three hours!

We waited, hoping it would drop off a bit but "NO SUCH BOODY LUCK".

Have a good night everybody, thinking of you. Cheers John.

Thanks all, was a good evening! Getting free drinks doesn't hurt either though... :innocent: I was honestly just being a cheeky bugger and trying it on... wasn't expecting to get a free pint out of it! Oh well, if you insist...

Pity you couldn't make it oldrider... but your name did get mentioned.

Good to meet you Ghost Bullet (and Mrs), hopefully we can get out for a ride sometime soon too. Good to catch up with the rest of you muppets too! :niceone:

Well hell, it was not half bad. would sure have been better better if people would stop extinguishing the love.
Good to meet inline-4, he inspired me enuf to buy em a DB, just cause that man deserved it:rockon: .
Bloody nice pizza, the itallian was great, and I even ete the mushroom in it, and you know I hate mushroom:yes: , oh and I hate oil leaks, but that does not stop me.

Realy in the whole scheme of things "hate" realy means love, does it not???

I was semi suprized how it felt like my throat had a teflon coating, I was alway feeling like I was dehydrated. Though I think it meant the more I drunk, the more the electrical impulses in my brain kept telling me to drink more.... must be the whole kiwi thing of almost binge drinking kicking in... though this Twinnings "Lady Grey" is tasting quite nice reight now:dodge: . Ghey is it not??? but oh how proud of it I am, damm I do not have any candles in the house.

Thanks people for a great nite!!!:Punk:

Good to hear that you guys had a good time.

We sent a TXT to Liz to say that we could not make it, BUGGER.

I was ready to rock and roll and was just waiting for SDU to finish work and turn up at home, to get out of work clobber etc.

We new that we were all ways going to be late and may miss the meal.
But she was running real late and thought that you would of finished the Pizza and would have started to think about going home, so pulled the pin.

All the best John in the future.

And will catch up with the rest of you at a later date.
