Wanting to know to wheelie simply to impress people is irresponsible. You should be ashamed
Joakes. I'm just jealous my bike can't do them. Just start off slow and get a feel for the clutch and throttle and slowly add more gas or let the clutch out quicker everytime you try. Currently doing that with stoppies, I can go about 10 meters doing around 40k :D which when you think about it that isn't so great but it's a start

Did you try 'learning how to use the search function' before you posted?
If you can't find more information about learning to wheelie than you will ever be able to use by cruising over to that little ol' search box and putting in a couple of keywords like, ooooh I don't know, let's say 'wheelie', and 'learn', then you ain't trying.

Wheelies aint big nor clever......unless they are on WT's mini moto.....
Which reminds me Stify, early onset dementia suffer you! - WT and his mini moto are gonna teach you how to wheelie, not the $16,000.00 Honda :nya:

ain't hard, its just about balls.
ask in quiet around a few people who can, and see if anyone is heading out to do some any time soon in any secret quiet locations, and just go practice. That's all it is. Then they can give you tips there n then based on what they see you doing. Trawl the net for tips n tricks n this is how you do what.. but it's all words until you put it into practice. Different ball game then

Just start slowly... Watch some stunt vids... those youtube links will probably help quite a lot, but just remember... take it slowly... nothing worse than scuffing up all your fairings because you overcooked a wheelie while learning... ask 2Much about it :p

In Hamilton, the term "Secret Quiet Locations" is replaced with "Any straight bit of road that has people to watch you"

well i managed a chubby....not quite the full six inches..... of front wheel lift but the wheel was off the ground none the less, and to ensure our cbr600 remains a wheelie virgin i did it on a demo 07 cbr600
now a question, the 07 cbr600 seemed to be set a lot softer than ours and was way easy to lift the the front when i nailed it in first gear(or kept it pegged in second for that matter), would this be due to the softer suspension setting or is it the extra grunt that made it easy???????

I've noticed once I put harder suspension on the rear of my RG that the front end could actually lift slightly off the ground. Soft suspension absorbs some of the sudden hit of power. I imagine it's the power, not so much more horsepower but the power delivery
By the way, your profile pic is a laugh
