Hi all,

I'm new to biking and have just bought the above bike. Now I bought this on trademe from a guy in Nelson.....I live in Auckland so when I finally take delivery of the bike are there any things that I need to look out for on this model bike (Common issues etc)?

Look forward to getting some info off you all.

Thanks,

Lance

PS I hope I haven't gone to far with the Hornet 250!!!

Hornet? Did someone mention Hornet? :woohoo:

The only prob with Hornets is not being ridden enough by its owners! A good 180 rear tyre is a must so it keeps its good handling characteristics. Depending on how much wear and tear its gone through, fork seals need replacing (like all of them eventually!)

It's a lovely thing of beauty, just need to remember it takes 4k revs to get it moving and the power band only really hits in at 10k. Which it loves.

The real issue is since it's such a lovely wee beastie, you'll be tricking it out and blinging it and hugging it and patting it and loving it and... :o

You need any info. just drop me a PM. All the Kbers here know I'm the local lunatic on the things!

Oooh...more bike bling install I must! :innocent:
