Hey, my '93 DR250 just turned 70,000km. It burns no engine oil and runs nice and smooth. I change the oil every 3-4000km. I'll bet there aren't too many high mileage small trial bikes out there, or are there? Whatcha got?

When I was at my parents last - They have a DT125 which had done 120,000km before the speedo broke and it's still going strong and in use everyday

I also have an NZ250, also 1988. Mine's done about 92000km and still runs great, no smoke either, revs cleanly out to the redline without any problem. :)

I see - so at 70,000 mine is just about run-in then.

Speaking to a local dealer a while back and he reckons there's no reason not to get 100,000k out of a liquid cooled bike as long as:
> It's not thrashed
> It's serviced regularly.
Mine's clicked over 30000k on Sunday and I'm looking forward to seeing how close to that 100,000k I can get it. At current rates that should happen in about 6 years. (Yeah, like I'm going to have it that long).
