Hey everyone,
As some of you might know, the first round of AMCC championship is this sunday at Pukekohe.... ALL OF YOU are required to come along to support the KB racers :niceone: i will be there (currently working frantically to get the bike race ready) Kwaka-Kid will be there, as will Hoon, Nicko, thatguy (maybe), Frosty (are you???) and a few others....
It will be my debut and as you all know im renound for crashing, so if it is wet set on the hill, if it is dry, head to castrol....
Cheers....

I believe it is AMCC racing, not a general track day for the public. To compete in such a day a race license would be in order, if I am not mistaken...

I've just got back from the garage after attempting and failing to fit my gloves on over my cast :(
Doesn't look like I'll be riding down :crybaby:
In case anyone is taking a cage down I can offer home baked pikelets / chocolate cake / scones in exchange for a lift

I think he meant the cost for spectating.
As far as I know, it's free mate. They only charge for nationals and posts classics and stuff like that.

Wicked guys! the more the merrier! Anyways cost is usually up to $10 a head just to spectate! Unless you come before like 9am... or tell a white one and say ur pit crew for someone and are carrying a spare part in your car u urgently need to bring down to them.
Race times etc? well its ALWAYS late, which generally means practise will be before midday but the actualy 3 races (which they usually only get through 2 of for each class, esp. if its raining) starts after midday... my recommendation is to head down for 12.
Will catch you all there if both bikes are ready in time, at the moment the racebike dont got fairings, exhaust, or spark plugs.. come on couriers!

Sunday eh! If the bike is going good chance's are i'll be headed out coro way, but if the bikes not good (chances are pretty good on that) i'll come down for sure, test day on sat i'll be at if i can wake up in time.
If i don't make it, i'll take the time now to wish you all the best of luck, i'd give you my luck but i ran out a couple of years ago :weep:
Oh yeah Hoon, i got the on board camera all working, colour, sound the works so if you are going on sat i'll have a look at hooking it up on the 400 for you to do a session or two, might be handy to compare to your track & corner notes........

Theres no track day this Sat. Theres a Friday one which I might go to. Hmmm I'll have to get my riding sorted before I embarass myself on tape tho!! Do you have a nice foam enclosure for your camcorder that can be strapped somewhere safe? Maybe next KB track day we can sort out some clips....I can bring my PC which has a DVD burner and capture card so we can burn it all on the day.

Friday ah shit looks like i'll have to try n get home thursday, see how its goes, bike might not even be ready, for thursday. Mind you they have changed days a bit, friday to saturday?
I've got paking foam to fit in the tail unit around the camcorder and battery pack, and a rubber foam for the bullet camera, if not the camcorder and battery pack can always go into a bum bag on ya back just biffing yourself down the track aint a good idea. by the sounds of things there aint nothing wrong with your riding almost in the 12's, man thats awesome, keep it up.

if I;m not there Ill be totally gutted. Waiting on a ring set so dont be suprised if the first practice session for me is REAAAAAL slow.
Given all goes to plan Ill be in f3 and pre89 so its gonna be a splash and dash between races.
Im hopeing and praying itll be a wet race cay --strictly for personal reasons.
Might be som frantic gearing changes between practices to get a bit more top speed down the straight.

so who is actually coming to watch???? im at a loss to which class to race in  i could go in F3 and get eaten alive, or hit clubmans and possibly clean up (ive heard the times are in the mid to late 1:20's, where im doing flat 1:20's) So confused  oh well im putting on F3 number boards so who know what happens...
Kwaka-Kid
10th September 2004, 09:26
what about SS150? isnt that what ur bikes for? have they scrubbed that class?
Two Smoker
10th September 2004, 14:56
SS150 has been scrubbed, im in clubmans, and if i clean up im going to ask to have a go in F3 (depending on the slowest F3 times) Ive got F3 number boards on (black background with white numbers) where the SS150 number boards are white background black numbers
SO to round it off, im racing in Clubmans on a completely black RG150, it has some KB stickers where the taillights were, and the number on it is 38 (dreadfully sorry if i stole someones number) which just happens to have been my uncles number when he raced at the Isle Of Man...
See EVERYONE there
