I would like some KB biker support

Hi guys there is this lady I know who is mad keen on motorbikes she mentioned some time ago that if she ever passed on her dream would be to have a motorcade procession with as many motorcycles as possible.

Just after Christmas, Ann was diagnosed with terminal cancer and quite possibly will not make it much past this weekend.

I'd like to ask the Auckland KBers if they would help me make this possible.

So if any of you would like to help with riding in Ann's funeral procession please PM me this may happen as early as Monday the 21st but also could be not until Thursday the 24th so it will be at a shortish notice. any folks PM me if you are able to help.

I would like to send my friend off the way she has asked :scooter:

Thanks
Steve

My hours are flexible so I should be able to tag along; that's if you don't mind a tatty ragamuffin on a leaky Harley.....

You're welcome to email me direct (pcwordsmith@xtra.co.nz) or call me on 021-212-3089 before 9.30pm any day. I get to bed early coz I'm an early riser.

Steve, Mark and Paul. Thank you for the opportunity to be part of this and thanks to the 50 odd other bikers that formed the procession.

I also take this opportunity to make mention of Paul Pavletich (Marks brother). Paul is the CEO of Motorcycling NZ a position which I am sure is poorly remunerated (if at all) and rarely receives any credit. He is a dedicated and capable biker and does a great job promoting our diverse sport/hobby/passion at the helm of MNZ. Thx Paul.

It is such an occassion and people such as those there today that keep my faith in the biking community.

Good on ya zrxer for giving us the opportunity to show the spirit that true bikers have. A nice orderly procession and the other motorists on the road showed due consideration as well without any hassles - good on them as well.
