I has an NC30 swinger for sale, lovely condition, points in the right direction. Has pivot, axle, brake disc, sprocket (pretty sure it's std but will check) & brake system including some completely dead pads.
$200, PM me, reply below or text / call 0274 585 322.
I also have some other random bits & pieces for NC30's available... ask away!

17" rim at all?
If you put a 17" on your NC30 how are you going to make up the ride height? or do you already own a ride height adjustable shock?
Ive bought his swingarm, and I have a 17 inch wheel off a Honda Bros. According to the interwebs its a "Simple" matter for an engineer to to modify the hub to allow the Bros wheel to fit. I know someone who might be able to assist, but first we have to get the appropriate bits in the same location, so they can be leaned together, beers drunk, and teeth sucked. serious work...... might involve a measuring stick and whatnot.

Yep.. you'll have to raise the ride height either with linkage or longer shock( I have both, RVF rear rim)...
You would think Honda would let the bros wheel fit the NC30, bugger them..
Anyway I have a Bros rear wheel and hub for sale if anyones interested... $300.

What shock have you got in yours? I have been trawling ebay and Tme for a ride height adjustable shock for mine. I am at "assembling bits" stage. At this point my preferred option is either a custom built Ohlins from Robert Taylor, or try and source one second hand. Allegedly an RS250 one will fit, and is ride height adjustable as well.....
I'm interested in your thoughts, ...

I measured up an RGV250 shock and found that it was about 15mm longer in free length, but would have a softer spring and dampening. Never fitted it, though.

I've got a custom made Ohlins, it's not ride height adjustable, just a bit longer.
I've had a honda RS250 rear shock with a rvf spring, but the damping wasn't up to the task... (if ya mean aprilia rs250, yeah I heard they fit, but I have my doubts if the spring rate would be suitable)
I was farking around with suspension for ages til I just sucked the sav and bought the Ohlins... worth it's weight in gold... definately the way to go... also go with a 15kg spring as it states in the HRC manual (std 14kg)

thanks.. I was meaning Honda RS250, but I think you're right: money spent on suspension has a much bigger benefit than the equivalent money spent pretty much elsewhere...
I have a bike for sale on tardme so hopefully I can sell that and have some money for a shock.
Project = fun.

so i guess it does not fit a nc30 another way to make up for the reduced ride hight is to hack your pegs in half

the ground clearance is shit already, plus what it would do to the steering.
Bzzzzzt Sir, you are incorrect, but thanks for playing.
