Just received the following in an e-mail from my mate LB. I guess she'll be too busy to make our weekly lunch meetings now.

From LB

Hi there.

I am delighted to announce that I have been appointed as Team Manager for Jay Lawrence and the Museum Hotel race team this season.

I do hasten to add that I'm keeping my day job as well!

Here is the link to the new website for Jay.

www.jaylawrence.co.nz (http://www.jaylawrence.co.nz/)

He's racing a 2007 Kawasaki ZX6-R this season, and his first race on the new bike is this coming Sunday, 20th May, at Taupo.

I helped build the website (a miracle considering my lack of technological ability!!)....have a look if you get a minute.

Feel free to pass the link on to anyone who may be interested in racing.

We went "live" with the site last night....it's all very exciting.

He didn't say what he's reading.....

He's probably referring to my behind the scenes exposé. That makes him cool.

Just because some people can't do it doesn't make it uncool.

I thought there was only allowed to be on ginga at any race track, at any one time, (sure I read it in the mnz book), so you're out of luck bro, Shaun will be there with whitetrash.

And maybe if you, my dear spring chicken, had bothered to do any reading, your diction and grammar wouldn't be so god damn poor, and you might be able to get a job that pays more than 100K a year or how ever much these self employed types pay themselves so they can afford to replace their old shitters.

Lynda does this mean that now you've found a nice young blonde fellah to dote your attention on that Ben bostrom is history? I know he seems to be past it with his racing.

Nice stuff. The site is nice start, well presented and easy to navigate.
Good luck on the 07 Kawka this year Jay.
I never really thought Jay was like Fabio, but maybe in a few years when he fills out and gets some pecs etc... but then don't be overly influenced by Jill saying you should. She probably wants you bigger and heavier so she can beat you in 600 SP next year...

Do you want my Barbers name Jay? Ooops, that hair care specialist's name I mean. All that hair blowing in the wind will slow you down you realise.

I hope you can still sneak out for weekend plays over the hills and far away...

And how come you didn't ask for volunteers to run the zx6 in?

All the best with the racing.

If the sun was rite and you were on the rite angle then id say it could be quite majestic in a strange sick kind of way. :dodge:
Was it a cymetrical flip with legs and wheels together or just an arms and legs and swingarm floppy flip.?

It was a spectacular, bits of bike in all direction, waiting for the flailing arms to come off, "holly shit I hope he's ok!" dismount.

Of course, I'm workin with second hand info, which tends to be slightly dramatised most of the time.

It wasnt too bad untill the bike hit the gravel and picked up, then proceeded to cartwheel arse for kite into an almost oblivion....i'm sorry

Jay weren't you invited to your team manager's birthday dinner last night?

A few KBer's were there with LB to make sure she enjoyed the night including merv, Re-cycled, BugSplat and Her_B4 along with partners and others.
