Hey guys.
Just reading Beyonds hard luck story and I know, like many others I am sure, how that feels.
Anyone fancy a ride Sunday 27th May 2007 (just found out Paul is going out this weekend).......meet at AB, Papakura at 10 for a 10.30 start.
I know Beyond will be embarrased, but I am happy to do a whip round to help Beyond with petrol and lunch...........Beyond forget your pride and let us take you out and cheer you up.....bring the Wife.

Cheers mate.
Now, I am actually free that weekend. It's this weekend I'm not.
More than happy to come but please: no donations. Things are not that bad yet and I hope to have a job soon.
Just PM'ed this reply to Grahameeboy and I know he won't mind me posting it here:
"LOL
Hey thanks heaps mate. I forgot the dates. It's this weekend I am going away not the 27th.
Anyway, I hope I didn't sound that desperate online. Things are getting bad of course but the bank accounts aren't dry yet.
I would feel terrible if people felt they had to cough.
Picture this. I didn't realise I was going to be made reundant so after my off upgraded all my kit.
Paul turns up on a near new GSX1400 (October 2006 10,000kms now) wearing a top range HJC helmet, what looks like an expensive leather suit, new Sidi top of the line race boots, the top of the line Spidi gloves and the best Bel radar on the market and Joe turns up on his gutted GN250 and donates some bread to the poor bugger with all the kit. LOL
Not picking on you mate and really appreciate the thought but if I come for a ride and probably will seeing I am off that weekend (it appears) then no donations but a good time to be had by all. So please edit the post okay?
I would feel terrible, truly I would."
So folks, I know everyone means well and appreciate the thoughts and comments but keep you cash in your pockets and lets have a good ride.
Grahameeboy, thanks very much for the kind gesture.

I love the loop of course but can make for a big day in a group so: I don't want to screw others peoples plans but if we head through Paeroa, Waihi and then to Whangamata-Kopu
Sound alright. Stop for a bite in Whangamata?
Not a real long one I know but happy with that?

It's been a long time since KB had a decent group ride.
I'm looking forward to this. The weather Auckland side is a going to be a bit spotty but the Easy coast is meant to be good.
At this point I'm keen as a Pig in heat so looking forward to catching up with a few old acquaintances. Bring the wetties in case but I reckon it should be good. :)
See you all tomorrow and ride safe. Nothing better catching up with fellow bikers and having no incidents to marr the day.

Suns peeping out every now and again in Papakura, no rain or showers visible on the rain radar. Isobars are close together so there will be a fair bit of wind around which will be why the clouds are moving fast up high.
Overall, should be a good un :)
Shame it's not a nice warm sunny day like we have been getting lately but it's rideable.
ZRXER: Hair of the dog and all that sort of stuff mate
Have a great ride today folks. Im up in Norfland so wont be able to join in the fun this time damit cause got new radials on the Prilly and its so sweet in the corners. The coast should be sunny, weather will pack in a bit later but mostly Auckland Norfland (its doesnt rain in Towelronga)

Thanks all for a great day. Was real good catching up with you all. Quite a big group in the end. The only good thing about the wind is that it dried the roads completely which was great.
Thanks Grahameeboy for organising that ride. :)
Quite a few cops around. The one coming towards us while we headed back to Kopu from the Whangamata turn off didn't seem to be too interested in grabbing anyone.
Not sure how many went to Coroglen but it looked like quite a few. We waited at Kopu for a bit just in case there were some more of ya then headed on to Auckland.
A guy who shot ahead of us on Ducati 1098 pulled up alongside us at Kopu and said the cop was using instant on and though he had a detector he passed the cop at 240kmh!!
I wasn't too far behind him at this stage but slowed up a bit and my detector went off and I pulled back to just under 120kmh as he came around the corner but he kept going and never even bothered with any of us?
Good on him, I think all of us that went through to Kopu were going somewhat over but he never turned the lights on or anything. Must have had his quota :)
So, was a real good day. I like those Super Dukes :) Extremely maneouvreable even mid corner with precise direction changes. Nice to watch.
