Well after alittle trouble with the bike getting tied & having to lay against the 3 seater couch in my shed & breaking the mounting plate on my Rearset I went & brought a set from F1 Engineering to get me going till I found where I could get a replacement for them . Was told by the company that did all the aftermarket gear on my bike it would be about 8-12 weeks maybe & thats if they sold spares for them . 8-12 weeks from Germany ?? I said to him ya got to be Shitting me !! . Google to the rescue found a site that sold my rearsets so e-mailed them & they gave me the Web-site to contact .A couple of E-mails later & abit of trouble figuring out the owners German to New Zealand I was ready to order a new Mounting plate when I got a e-mail from him asking if I had got it yet as he had sent it on Saturday ? , hadn't payed for it yet . Wifey walks in with a package from Germany address to me , Ya what I said ? there was my rearset mounting plate 7 DAYS from Germany !!!! Sent Saturday turn up next Saturday
" Hell Yea " now thats service ! So F1 rearsets got taken off & the MR EVO 5's where put back on Arhhh just a lovely bit of CNC Kit . Now just waiting for my PCIII Power-commander to turn up so I can put that into the bike .

Nice bling man. I haven't been on site much lately. What's up with the power commander? I was thinking of trying to source one of those custom performance chips through you (If that was possible).

Have tryed 3 Eproms now all had their good points & bad . The one from Dean is still the most perfect fueling from idle to redline but after trying the others have found it is not quite rich enough above 8,500rpm as it doesn't pull as hard as the other 2 do so have decided to put a PCIII in so I can richen the top to my liking & get a perfect Tune as it only needs abit more fuel to do this & got a great price on the PCIII so deal is done . Dean's eprom didn't run well in mates 03 Tuono Factory bike , I'm not sure why but they have different Eproms from the RSVR's which would point towards ignition timing for more Torque down low . Could give you his number & you could have a talk to him about one very nice guy . Lets know Clivoris

Sweet. I was planning on doing the chip and PCIII too. Already got the PCIII. Can't afford a chip yet though cos my attempt to get racing is getting expensive.

Mate with the Tuono racing has just put a Factory Pro Eprom into his bike but need to get it sorted as they are not just plug in & ride like Deans one was . What Eprom is your Tuono running ?

I run the standard Eprom. I had some correspondence with Renegade (manufacturer of my exhaust). They suggested that I might be able to get away with the PCIII and not bother about buying their eprom. It runs ok, just a bit lumpy. Mine is the R model too. Not the factory.

I think an Aprilia Awakino Pub ride is on the cards with the people off here & all the others round the Naki would be getting close to 25+ . Sounds like a plan I'll start getting things underway .
