I managed to fry by motherboard on the PC due to a power pack problem :crybaby: . I am therefore without a connection as the wonderful security people at work have blocked KB. Until I can get the funds together for a replacement machine, I will be off-line for a while.

That being said at my work if you use em its a breach of network policy and you face disciplinary action.

do you have cotents insurance,we had a couple of power surges,first one was dickhead power contractor changing meter board,said no need to turn off computer,then a sparking sound, oh shit sound,computer goes blank,$150 repair later on power co to pay and alls well.then had power surge or similar,also took out phone line as well as desk top,fried laptop,checked with insurance co and as modem got fried in laptop as well as smaller probs linked to surge,new laptop,as well as new desk top box of bits,all good.

I have the same problem. Lot's of ways to get around the firewalls but any one caught using them......

Not only am I PC-less, I'm now Bikeless. Sold the CBX yesterday and also delivered the forks off the CB to get new seals fitted. Unfortunately when I took the forks off, I found them slightly pitted so they have now been sent away for re-chroming. So it's back onto the train for me for the next week:sick:
