Jim2.. honestly shes a little angel, you wont hear a peep out of her. Unfortuantly as a Mum, I can either flog her off to someone, or bring her over the 'big hill' for a little adventure. Your choice but would hate to think that my decision to bring her has put you off.

What's the dress code? Not that I want to wear a dress... Being a man of leisure I will be arriving on my trusty steed in biking attire and with bikers hair! Will it be OK to mingle with you lot in your suits and ties???
Hitcher
28th May 2007, 09:06
On the subject of "dress code", one was amused by such a code nailed to the wall by the entrance to a New Plymouth pub on Devon Street which, in addition to verboten motorcycle garb, also had "bogan t-shirts" on its list of no-nos. The irony was that the pub was called the Slutty Mole/Fat Lady's Arse, or something similar...

If the kitchen is slow gives us more time for witty repartee between us huh. Looking forward to seeing you all over my slow lamb salad and I will have all my layers of clothes on, its too friggin cold in this town for much else unless you snuggle up close. Mind you with the crowd that seems to be coming we will be a tight fit.

Nah would I say that? No I am sure it'll be a bigger turn out than last time and we had about 18 that time. I could always sit on your knee I suppose or Lissa's, I guess she'd be used to kids on her knee.

I've done a head count. As it stands, it looks like 22.... plus a couple of littlies! 23 if Jim changes his mind.
The XJ is still in many pieces and I'm unemployed and rapidly going broke. If you can read between the lines you'll understand what I'm saying here.

Yes, I too had an enjoyable time. Slowly but surely I can put faces to names and names to KB handles. Thanks to everyone who introduced themselves to me cos I'm piss poor at introducing myself! That means I can now add Steam, Str8, Sallo, and Nudes to my recognition list. Those of you that I still don't know will have wait till another suitable occasion. Yea Bre and Nick left it way to late to start running around and misbehaving... (Shes still asleep from when we got home at 3pm).
LOL. Nicky's just had storytime and been given his goodnights - he didn't sleep at all (he's on the Chopper Reid children's daytime regime) - and he's currently lying in bed in his room off the lounge singing to himself as I type this on the lounge laptop.
I've got to say - that pre-ordering idea was FANTASTIC. Such a pleasure to get to a restaurant and have lunch coming out within 10 minutes of arriving. And I'm sure One Red Dog was rapt too.
Well done Sallo for organising this one.
Bugger that I had to go so soon; missed meeting most of you. Fark, I didn't even see Nudes there!
Sorry Skunk, I was monopolising him.
Yeah enjoyed that and sure Sallo did a perfect job organising things and getting us to pre-order because if you go casually to One Red Dog it can be a bit slow at times.
I got to see eye to eye with Colapop as he whisked me off my feet for a hug. I sense he has a phobia against big men - perhaps he wished he was the right size like me - coz in that list he says he only shook the hands of big guys Fatjim and Hitcher.
Great to see (and kiss and hug) you KB chicks too - hey your fellahs aren't the jealous types are they?
The kids certainly were cool too, if they weren't mentioned you'd hardly know they were there, except Nicky kept putting his foot on my knee under the table - hope he's not getting the wrong idea too early. Banana looked like she was ready to party towards the end too, kicking off her boots and getting down to it.
Geez I was back at my office before 1.30pm and I thought I'd need a 2 hour lunch. See you all again next time.
I was very quiet and well behaved today...
As you always are my friend..........I see though that some people missed out on the "hugginess" that is you, nice touch with the tummy tickle for the littlies an the "handshook" thang for the biggies, but what is with the ones that escaped your attentions..........LOL.......big scaredy cats I say :dodge:
