Howdy all,

Well, a milestone for me last week, with the odo ticking over from 9999.9 to 10000 on Thursday on my way home from work.

Just as I can remember precisely where I was when I clicked over to 1000 kms (Muritai Rd, about 1 km from home) I will also store the big 10000 (SH2 almost to Petone off ramp) in my memory banks.

I have loved every minute of my bike riding/owning experience - my only regret is not getting started earlier!

Thanks to everyone I've met from KB for all the helpful advice, riding and lunches and for taking the time to answer newbie questions and offers of help.

Already working towards my next 10000 kms - may there be many many more to come!

I think I'm finished gushing over my bike now... oh wait a minute...

Now I'm finished.

Yep I know the feeling .....

I have done it on my bike as well.

Pine Valley Rd up near Dairy Flat.

I took some pics to proof it...... still waiting to get the film developed.

Now up to 03400km......

Hey, watch it, when you go and get the next WOF on the bike....

I took mine in the other day and put down 03010 kms.....
and the woman said that it is wrong...... what is the correct reading?

I said thats what it is that I have taken the bike around the clock.....

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH she said..... the computer couldnt read that.
So she had to write down 103,010 kms

The computers read a number that we dont have on bikes.
