it is active and what an amazing site...Wish someone thought of that when my sisters boyfriend was killed on his bike from a drunk driver. That must have taken alot of strength and my condolences

I dont know who you are Guzzi Widow, nor do you know me. In my line of work I have attended many tragic events over the years, some similar to yours, tearing families apart. I like to think I have become hardened to the emotion attached to these stories... I have to, how can I efficiently operate otherwise? But I rarely follow up on my patients, and seldom do I see the effects on peoples families and freinds.
Untill I went through your website,.... read your tragic, wasteful, senseless story. A very rare time that I am finding myself in tears for someone I didnt even know, guess I am not as emotionaly hardened as I thought eh.
RIP Leon, Simon, and Toni.

Thankyou speedie xo

Onya Speedie...

It takes a special sort to deal with this kind of tragedy, but what you do on a daily basis is nowhere near as hard as what the families have to deal with for the rest of their lives...

I just don't know what to say to you, except keep on doing what you are doing.

Reading that I feel kind of stunned! R.I.P to your loved ones and best wishes to you, I realise how inadequate that is but it is all I have got to offer. John.

Im like speedie, however your website certainly has moved me.

If you can make a dent in this crazy drink driving culture New Zealand has and the general poor attitutude of a lot of New Zealand drivers to basic road safety and attitude to motorcyclists, then damn well good on you.

I dont know you but i certainly do feel for you,

Dyna
Yea I'll see what I can do...thankyou

My most sincere condolences. Your site left me with tears in my eyes and also a strong sense of admiration for your strength. If your site can raise recognition of the harm drunk drivers do then you will have made a difference. You have been through a lot, I hope that the support from the messages I have read on KB and Badd helps you realize that you are not alone. Kia Kaha.

You and your family (and supporters) have set up a great website
I actually read out your Lives Destroyed page to my wife and daughter and it had us all with tears in our eyes.

Just like your memory of Leon, Simon and Toni, you must never let this website, or more importantly the message it has never be forgotten :bye:

I wish everyone could find the strength you have shown at difficult times in our lives

If there is anything that you are wishing to do (Blood donor ride etc) please let us know here, and we will certainly be there.
Enough is enough!!
Lets carry this message out and around the country

Our thoughts are with you all
RIP Leon, Simon and Toni

The reckless actions of drunk drivers have gone on unchecked and unchallenged far too long in this country. The absolute horror and sickening, needless loss this man has caused by his thoughtless recklessness makes my blood boil. You have my full support in this uphill battle - years of advertising campaigns have clearly failed to change the mentality of these killers.

To your loved ones taken before their time - Rest in Peace. :grouphug:

Incredible website - the message cut straight through me.

I have no words that suffice, nothing to describe what I felt as I read. And, while I share a small part of your pain, I can only offer what I have. If I can do anything to help, you only need ask.

Wow! Awesome. I will definately head in that direction. Yea we pretty quickly whacked the site together and hoped to heck it would function where it needed to, there will be a poll to gauge public opinion, and a few other things we'd like to add.
Awesome, I'll have a yak to my co designer and see if hes happy with the logo, we are really tho.
I have T-shirts in design at the moment, (waiting for the proof today) only 10, that are already earmakrked at this point...And if I like how they look then I'll get some more in, these have been done at my own cost but the idea is to pay for website hosting, domain name "ownership" and the monthly cost on that and anything and above I shall endeavour to get a team together to help set up the Not For Profit badd organisation, I'll have to delegate as I cant keep doing the hours Im doing and my boys are both sick so theres not been much sleep the last few weeks.and if they look good we'll get some more, there has been a huge reponse in regards. Also would like some bumper stickers...*555 - stay alive www.badd.co.nz. And eventually bucket hats (Leon styles) and some badges. One thing at a time tho
Thanks for your offer, I will definately call on all offers at some point
xoxo

This will be used to gather public opinion. And will be given to local MP Tony Ryall in the start of this journey. I appreciate your support
