Who is the "muppet of the month" ?

What 'dumb arse' things have you done or said (or someone else said or done) this month?



My 'muppet moment' was using polystyrene to rest an upside down petrol tank on while I repaired it.... yeah... made a mess :shutup:

So Post your "muppet moment" and be crowned May's Muppet !

yeah the tank thing was pretty dumb... I still cant get the jellyfied polystyrene and petrol off the garage floor.... :innocent:

I went to make some 'EasyMac' (macaroni cheese) last night without reading the instructions and completely stuffed it up.

Dont know why i open myself up for this but here goes, Was at Kopu a few weeks back, went to leave (now the bike has been having a starting problem but getting that sorted) anyway, went to leave and the bike had trouble starting, in Neutral...yip!...ok got got it going, keep the revs up a tad, ok in gear...stop! :mad: try again and again and again...fuck what now! Anne hops off the back....says'' Um darling, side stand is down''....:doh: :Oops:

how about buying a bike (CR250), the next day firing her up, trying to get the choke to hold up, wont so start turning it to see if that makes it stick only to find that once I got back from my 2 min ride on the road that the bike wont idle. find a screw on the carb...that must be the idle adjustment...

Long story short, stuffed the fuel mixture and idle of my bike before I even got to ride it proberly...and now I need to take it to the shop to make sure I'm not running it to lean.

Oh the side stand, been there, done that...was raining and I was getting pissed off and the bike was stalling everytime I put it in gear...took me 15mins to figure out what I was doing. 6am + rain + going to work = me brain dead.

Hey, thats 2...do I win?

well...I think I just graduated to full muppet...after all that I took the CR out for its first run...seized the engine within 30mins of riding.

Have to say, pushing a motorcross back along Murawai beach (sp?) to the car park is nooo fun at all.

Ahhh, 2 strokes...is there anything better.
