Thinking about it, bikes would be ok with only one number plate at the rear.

It's being trailed in Scotland

Hahaha. I wonder what is trailing behind?

Scary thought though, would love to know how it works in the poaring rain and covered with road muck.

ummmmmmmmmmm sniper are you familiar with irony? lol

I am just a bit sick of the 'safety police' trying to remove all the fun from life, the comment in the article is "the next logical step on the road to safety".
Give it time and some idiot will decide that it is too dangerous for us all to have bikes, cars or jobs that involve moving faster than walking.

Cripes there's a thought cameras in the road what ever next!.

But if it reduces accidents that can't be a bad thing, and if it improves driver diligence on the road then that is even better. Although I suspect motorists will only be diligent at that one point and drive like morons the rest of the time because they can.

Mind you Technology is amazing isn't it! Never fear some bright spark will invent a way to block the camera. Or even come up with a list of where all the camera's are hidden so we all know about them before we get there.

Well I have to say that I am sick to death of wankers driving their cage's on the centre line or just over it! I see it at least three or four times a day on my 5 min drive to work everyday, don't people understand what the centre line is for! Hope like shit I don't meet any of them when on my bike all over my side of the road. I always do a massive swerve in the car so I pass them quite close in hope it might wake them up and scare them back onto their side of the road, have seen a few swerve.

Actually we have them here and they are great ,,, They store electricity during the day and light up at night ,, if I read that article correctly all that happens is they use the camera to monitor traffic flow , and light up other warning lights

As all good conspiracy theorists would say Brian: that all they do AT THE MOMENT. No doubt our revenue gathering-whoops! I mean, oncerned with our safety govt- will soon turn them into photo taking instruments of the law.
MSTRS will probably be along shortly to go into more detail:D
