TEAM BENT SPANNER is going down on the thursday avo..cos we gonna get to know the track since we aint seen it before,
We are staying in palmy cos feilding is.... well......... shit....(friday is a trackday)

Who else is gonna give us a run for their money... since most of the bikes were smashed at the last meet is there any contenders left???

Jills been there plenty of times now and it would be great if she was hungover on Raceday. So if you shout her a dozen and keep her up all night that would be great.

Speaking of tyres...have I heard right that the place shags soft tyres well good? I'm thinking of putting some road tyres on ('cos it'll be cold and I ride like a nana so prob can't keep the heat in hard race tyres).

Racecourse Motel (?) seems quite good. Think the owner is quite bike-sympathetic too. Just down the road from the Mobil.

Hmmm...I don't think so Garry...!!!!! However, given that Manfeild is your home track and I have ridden there a total of 5 times in my life...how about I shout YOU some beers and we'll go from there...

Yep. They have a restaurant there, but it was being renovated last time we were there. Owner lent us his car so we wouldn't have to ride into town in the rain to get dinner!! And only 1 minute from the track!

me.. old hat?.. i have yet to race there!.. i have done a "couple" of track days there on the BUCKET only... luke is the guy you should be talking to about the track... after his 3 lapp in the drissel, with his knee down, waving at me ( i was a flaggie) he was doing 1:38's on a bike (150)he have NEVER ridden before... he had only ever RIDDEN my bucket... in a car park!

but the beer sounds a good idea...then the tips will come thick and unuseable!

um, it didnt really come out right... was asking if you were doing the test day....
then asking if any old hats at manfeild were going to the test day..... for tips and lines...
oh and we are staying in palmy so you might have to drive a little for a drink, which i dont encourage ;)

i'll be there, gona do the test aswell, and i'm gona do the test day on the 9th hahahaha. I need every advantage i can get hehe.

Hey you can hire the new pit garages too, just get a group and it'll make it cheaper.

Lets hope we can get a full days racing this time, so if anyone falls off i'll come and kick them in the head aswell.

i did a Puke day with Sam Smith etc... was nuts... every time i got to the back straight he went past me :doh:
one thing i learned, hold your line!!!!
and dont be intimidated... and man did it imrpove my confidence being out with the fast guys! :Punk:

Yeahhh Manfeild in the wet will sort you out :yes: . Its cold as the gates of antarctic and the river / lake on the back straight turns it into a single lane route.:shit:
Ahhhh yes i knew there was a reason to race bikes . I hate skiing but like the cold lol.
Dont panic folks , its grippy even in the wet. ( not like Taupo).

Thanks to the generosity and support of many Kbers, I will be there, unfortunately without my mentor:(

Doing both days, I haven't ridden at Manfeild for a few years now and will need the re-famiarisation.

due to work committments I wont be racing this saturday (I tried getting the fieldays moved to next week as it was very inconsiderate that it clashed with my racing, but alas wasnt successful). so all I can say is......hope it called off due to rain and none of you get any points or track time :dodge:

but seriously have fun and make hay while that sun shines cos itll be different at round 3:angry:
