I fix up bikes. Different makes and models. I like it. Makes me feel good. But sometime I get stuck. There is a problem that even my knowledge does not solve. Those times I like to ask others, others that have more knowledge. Today with the www all has become so much easier. I post my question and I have a multitude of answers. Some useful, some not.
But sadly I have not managed to find a place where all my questions can be answered. I use TM, club pages, some private pages. And I have also found some dedicated ones.
I am covered re the european and american ones.
One where I get good Honda advise is the Honda Motorcycle
Technical Help Board at: http://the-stable.lancs.ac.uk/~esarie/honda/techbrd.htm
But I have not managed to find dedicated pages for the other japanese ones. Does anyone know any good Q & A web pages for Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki?

One of the reasons I just joined up. And I will use KB when I get stuck. But NZ being a small country where only a small portion of the 4million here are any god at working on bikes, and a even smaller portion of them are on this site, one can not always expect answers here that solves the problem.

the good thing abouth KB is that its not just Kiwi's on here... there are a few bike machanics here. You may be suprised about the knowledge that is here on KB as well...
But as I said a lot of the bike models have their own forums that you may need to googe for

Hey thanks for that Honda site, mate, it's champion -- asked a question about my CB250RS (a very popular UK model) and got a few ideas that I haven't got from here on KB.
KB is brilliant -- managed to go from complete n00b (how do I change gear?) to rebuilding my engine in a few months, thanks to this site -- but diversity is useful.
Thanks.

Try this site for the workshop forums , they have a few idiots but you can filter that out as you come across it.
www.400greybike.co.uk
Or this one for the Kawasaki Zephyr.......

Like Nighthawk says, a lot of sites are model specific.

Come across this one for Honda Cubs -- http://members3.boardhost.com/cubchat/index.html?1214443798 -- very active, lots of smart (and poor/cheap/creative) people :)

Burt Munroe, John Britten, well that's two anyway, and we're a lot better at fixing stuff with bugger all - comes from being at the end of the earth and having no other option.
