Christian, but in saying that here is something for you all.
Old batmobilile was the better 'bat-car' but the new one is the better car.
i.e. I would own the new one, but if someone says 'batman' to me i would remember the oldish one.

If only they could replicate the bad-ass'ness of the batmobile as it was in the original animated series.

It's Keaton, not only was he the best batman, but the original film was also the best film, so dark and gothic, and the soundtrack is amazing.

The best Batman movie ever was Watership Down.

Adam West.

Maybe that's what the thread poster had in mind when they specifically referred to the movie Batman...

Michael Keaton of all the modern ones. Both he and Gotham City were darker. But then again, I am a Bladerunner and Alien 1 fan and like moody settings.

the problem with the homo batman movies, is the script plot and directing.

Batman is to be dark not warm n fuzzy.

batman has to hate the crims and kill them etc.

I'de say it's a split between Bale and Keaton.

The other two were trying to be more like spiderman or some shit. Also wtf was with all the bad guys being in black light paint?

Maybe that's what the poster had in mind when he included a link to the 1966 MOVIE details.

Michael Keaton by miles ahead of fat face ponce Clooney. He was dark, angry, moody-like the hetero Batman, not the Adam West version
However, theres a lot to be said for Bale in the newest edition. Be keen to see him have another lash

lash?

make it plural: 'lashings'.........

then it's a feed or foreplay (or both), either way, I'm in.

GOLD! all together now....how can a light that burned so brightly...suddenly burn so pale....briiiiiiiiight eyeeeeeesssss.....

p.s. Bale was best, but aided by far by the serious intent of the movie in comparison to the comparative limp wristedness of the others

I think Christian Bale is the best actor out of the bunch and probably the best build to be Batman. I can't wait to see what they do in the next film.

After him I'd have to give it to Michael Keaton. The Tim Burton films where nice and dark just a pity the villians seemed to get more focus.

Keaton - excellent dark movie...

Watership Down? read the book, seen the movie, eaten the pie ;)

Christian Bale then Michael Keaton.

Best Batmobile was from the original and Batman Returns.

Batman Forever and Batman and Robin were so wrong, so very wrong.
