Who makes this shit up?

People who enjoy deluding people :D

Standard strategy used in Horoscopes and the like; almost every single one of those descriptions, when read, will have something in it that triggers an `oooh! That's me!' response. They're all different, but they're all relatively positive, and even when things don't apply at all you're likely to want to believe it because it sounds so nice.

jealous and passionate, no compromise.

Weeping Willow (Melancholy) - likes to be stress free, loves family life,
full of hopes and dreams, attractive, very empathetic, loves anything
beautiful, musically inclined, loves to travel to exotic places, restless,
capricious, honest, can be influenced but is not easy to live with when
pressured, sometimes demanding, good intuition, suffers in love until they

WTF?!?

Mine said:
"Arsehole Tree (Pain in the Bum) -- ugly and totally unappealatising, with ugly foliage that seems to be in a constant autumnal state, understandably has no real friends, constantly grumbling and giving those around him grief, never has a kind word to say about anyone or anything, best avoided like his close relatives, poison oak and poison ivy."

Hazelnut Tree (Extraordinary) -- charming, sense of humor, very demanding but
can also be very understanding, knows how to make a lasting impression,
active fighter for social causes and politics, popular, quite moody, sexually
oriented, honest, a perfectionist, has a precise sense of judgment and
expects complete fairness.

Spooky....

Seems it's about as accurate as most of those things - 50/50. Which, coincidentally, is the same ratio as guessing.

Kinda scary in the fact that it's completely random, yet out of all of them the only one which remotely resembles me is the correct one for my birthday - go figure.

Poplar Tree (Uncertainty) -- looks very decorative, talented, not very
self-confident, extremely courageous if necessary, needs goodwill and
pleasant surroundings, very choosy, often lonely, great animosity, great
artistic nature, good organizer, tends to lean toward philosophy, reliable in
any situation, takes partnership seriously.

Wow! That is amazing!
The 'Arsehole Tree" matches me perfectly too!

But the other nine (9!) I tried for members of my family were complete and utter bollocks.

Bummer I got this one:

Gullible, easy, believes in astrology as well, votes well to the left of the centre and have vegetarian tendencies. Believes firmly in improved care for the elderly, increases in wellfare benefits and sees no problems with a truly socialist state - in fact communism would work even better. Buys lottery tickets. Cries when the Nipponese eat whaleburgers and don't get why we can't just all get along. Is a firm believe in the right to drive in the right lane 5 km/h below the speedlimit because no one could be anymore busy than they are. Believes in Santa Claus, the tooth fairy, the easter bunny and other random religious/superstitious icons.

Fits me perfectly I must admit... :devil2:
