Yea, that's the plan as long as the weather is okay. You doing the "Caltex at 9.30" run or another with Mrs EddieB (sorry, terrible memory and have forgotten her name already)

Was that you and Dion? I was lead on the red 'Storm and my flatmate Christian (BritStorm) was on his yellow one. Didn't see EddieB out there today, not to say he wasn't though.

Yes, I'm sure will get to say gidday sooner or later.

I can confirm it's red, new, shiny and lovely. Just needs a set of aftermarket cans to sound like a real bike. :innocent: Met up with MarkNZ at the top of the hill late afternoon yesterday (Sat).

Nice to meet you too (at last!!) Britstorm.

Mark D: saw you and Dion near the top, also had seen Dion in his car mid-dayish around Haywards.

Met up with Bugsplat, Stonechucker, Velox, and a couple of others whose names escape me at various points. It was not a bad day for riding, a bit chilly at the top of the hill first visit, but strangely enough by late afternoon it had warmed up a bit.

I took the 800 out today, sheesh I really love both my bikes.....

Am planning on a ride today but at this stage the wind/rain is making a leisurely breakfast at a McCafe more tempting.......

Yeah that was us. This afternoon's ride is not looking too promising. Atleast the region drought rating is still low! I might have got it wrong and mistaken the red VTR for a 888 as I only caught a glance.

Congrats Mark. Its a pity the weather is stuffed as I would have come out to play today as well. Will have to check your new toy out some other time.

red
And what other colour is there

Marknz: hey, off topic here but just following up on the P/M I sent you regarding your Lazer lid, I'm keen to get another Lazer however not if it still has there rat shit rachet system on there visors. So what I've done is attach a couple of pic's of mine, now its the stupid prongs on the side plate that breaks every time ya remove the visor.
I notice on the web site that the newer lids look like they have a screw type arangment on the side plate is your side plates like mine or have Lazer got there shit together at last?

No, mine looks to be a far simpler system than that. For starters I don't have the cover plate of the visor mount, and then it seems to be a simple spring loaded clip type system. I'll try and take some pics and load themm up here for you.
