As i said in the zxr400 for sale post. If you need a hand i wouldn't mind helping got through the electics. But it help to have a beefy multimeter, a normal one would work though.

Seems the no spark demon is terrorising more than just me at the moment!
I've still not found the source of my problem but some ideas for you based on my progress so far related to spark (with my problem it's been clouded by fueling issues too so I've spent just as much time with my carbs/fuel supply etc):
1. New plugs. No?
2. New plug caps. No?
3. New plug leads. No?
4. New coils. No?
5. Test loom for shorts etc. No?
6. New CDI. No?
7. New Pick ups/mag cover.
8. No? Burn it.
With me RGV I'm up to 7. I'm already gutted it's put me out of R1 AMCC so 8 is quite possibly going to be the most satisfying remedy.
good luck...

When my cbr was doing that I foud it was a connector to the pulse coil that was corroded.

When we were putting the engine back together the bolt holding the ignition roter in place was only put in finger tight. so the bike started and ran fine-untill the bolt worked loose and the rotor fell off.
Ohh and aff man--wazzup with ya carbs--Ive got a spare set of flat slides if it helps.

don't know it like hold high revs when stopped and then goes to idle after a while, it also does not keep a constant idle and the bike backfires worse than "yo mama on a good day" when throttling off. So i think they are unbalanced but they might need sycronising and some other stuff as well. Any help would be sppreciated but i will be sending it in to the bike shops on friday if i can't get it sorted myself.
