Hey people,
Didn't really know where to stick this, hopefully it fits in here..
I saw that the Woodhill 100 buggy/track race is on this weekend (3rd June), was wondering if anyone else might be riding up to check out the action up there?Last time I was up there, there was a few people on dirtbikes/quads checking out the action (obviously off the track), I don't know how much it is to spectate but am thinking about heading up for a look if the weather is nice be it on the bike or in the cage.
From what i've read practice starts and 830am and race starts at 1030.

Do they open other areas of the forest on the day? I may have a wee ride around woodhill-kaukopa-puhoi area on the sunday, I should be able to call in for some rubbernecking at the race. Any other takers? Crisisman? Roger?

My father won this event several times, came second a few times as well. Racing cages of course. Racing a class 6 vehicle in class 8; 2WD vs 4WD.

I've never seen it on a bike, but Woodhill is a magic place for off-road racing.

Heh. There's my `my daddy's better than yours' for the day :D

A flaming long way away from Wellington

It's in West Auckland, more or less. On the same chunk of land that Piha, Muriwai, Helensville are. Next to Waimaukau (sp?).
