I think I might just plan a birfday pootle in a couple of weeks.

Quite possibly followed by a group bike wash, some tasty beverages, and quite possibly a small BBQ afterwards.

If I feel so inclined, I might even let some of you lot attend.

God I am feeling so generous in my old age!

Tentatively, I will say Saturday the 16th of June... however this is subject to change. Probably not though, as I feel Sunday will be a recovery day.

Oh tragedy indeed! Just found this thread, got all enthused, and now this...sigh. I do need to get to Auckland to pick up my sad little abandoned GN which is sitting in MIL's garage, thinking it's been forgotten. It hasn't. A couple of times I've decided to go for a blat and then remembered my bike is 360k away. Doh. And now the famous Ohakune chocolate eclair shop is open again for the season it's getting imperative to get my wheels down here so I can have a perfect excuse for a little ride.....heh heh heh. When I do have a date for picking it up, to ride back, I'll start a thread, just in case anyone wants to tag along. Who knows, GI Joe might have a couple of hours without students and feel like a 700k round trip for a Clowns cafe pie....
