I was at Ballykelly yesterday and the look on Bens face said it all. A whole bunch of Kiwi supporters invaded the track at the end of the race and swamped our boy.
The track layout was superb for spectators and wasn't as muddy as reports stated (try riding in Wellingtons hills in the rain) It didn't rain much either but it was just as windy as Wellington. Must have felt like home.

Pity he won't get the recognition he deserves in his home country.....Yeah, they stuck him on the back of the sports section in The Herald this morning, and some 15 year old tennis player who won the US Junior Open got half the front page.:blink:
