What Big Dave said: Epic. Like the other landscape shot selected – the photo has lowered the camera to bring the bike into the scene. Many of the other ‘epics’ have been taken at full height and the bike is like a footnote to the scene. Colour contrast clarity balance – could do with some cropping.

hey steam - the other thing is that these are linked to my web space - I have no probs with that - except that sometimes I run out of bandwidth and apple pulls the plug and they dissapear - they should be on KB space to make sure.

Hey - Many thanks for everyones kind words. I was a little amazed it came out so well and secretly I'm kinda stoked with the whole thing, the piccie, winning the comp etc etc and especially because there were so many other worthy entries. Especially thanks to KB and the judges / organiser for making it happen. Nice to see something different / positive.

Next time I suggest:

Set a specification for the pictures
IE:
Landscape
1024 x 768 pixels maximum.

Portrait
600 x 400 pixels maximum.

Must be submitted and attched in relevant thread.

Pictures should be captioned or titled when submitting.

Make poll closing date same as starters orders.
