While surfing trademe i came across a 80cc 2 stroke engine that you could bolt on to your bike. Achieving a top speed of 70km/h as long as you were prepared to pedal, i assume quite hard. Would you have to warrant and register your new "motorbike"?
well it would be a moped so i dont think so as long as its under 2 kw (not shure though)

it won't be under 2kw. it's a motorbike.

it's moped only if it's under 2kw and under 50cc also must be restricted to 50km/hr
so no, it will be a motorbike and good luck certifying that and getting a rego for it....

Kind of defeats the purpose of a pushy.

Go one better and aquire a turbine and use that to power your bike. You will be the envy of all your mates.

loal, I've seen all those little bike/scooter/moped things on there... I was thinking of getting a scooting mobile or something, but I've been discouraged... I'm now looking for a street magic just to zoom round the shore on heh... anyone know where I could get one reasonably cheaply???
