Hi all...

I have a problem.

I am going to custom paint my 03 Duc S4r but Im unsure of what colour to do it in.

The frame and wheels silver will have to stay the same.
There is a bit of silver/gold theme happening with black parts on the engine.
currently red, but tank has a "nuts" dent in it so it will require a repaint.

Any suggestions as to what may loook real cool.

The headlight faring is staying off, so just the tank and the seat cover.

Tail chop is on order, open black clutch cover coming with gold spring caps.

Also im looking for a radiator if any one knows where one miht be or what other radiator might fit.

I look forward to your replies.

:shit: Sure you've got enough locks on it?

You could a tricolore scheme of some sort on the tank and tail piece, running along the length, green on the left side, white down the middle and red on the right, or variations of. :spudwhat:

The tricolore on the 1098 looks pretty damn good.

Beige.

It's got a bad rap, but beige is the new black.

Just doesn't look right, there's too much white and the pin-stripes too thin ;/.

There is too much white like you say but it shows my idea pretty well. Great work.

How about a nice understated slate grey?
But get the frame and rims powder coated bronze to complement it.

Thanks for the photoshops guys, keep em coming....
Id love to know how to use that program...
anyway... frame and wheels are not getting a colour change.
Tank and seat cover only.

How about another variant
That looks a lot better IMO :niceone:, cheaper to paint as well.

ok guys, not too keen on the green.
at all.
hehehehe

was maybe thinking on carbon fibre rear tail cover with either matt silver or denim black or maybe silver/black contrast or something.

The Duc clutches look awsome with the open cover eh.........FWIW i have this on my TL but doesnt look as good as the Ducati cover.......for obvious reasons.
