Cheese, give it a go, its not that bad, all the jumps are safe to roll if you can not do them,
we also run A and B heats if it is busy so the really quick guys will not be around you anyway,
just hold you line and you will be fine

just as many people get carted out of ardmore than harrisville, fact
mx is a dangerous sport, no matter what track you are on,
ardmore has been shocking lately... mostly to do with numbers and populaity i think

Went to watch the Auck champs at Harrisville have a good mate with a son in the Subway Yamaha team. They where jumping at least 2-3 stories in the air over one or two of the jumps. Its was just awsome. Hate to be the slow guy they landed on though. And with just a 2 hour practice window on a Saturday it must as bad or worse than Armore. Although I haven't actually been an a Saturday.
And went out to Ardmore with my 17 year old son who is no whimp but still learning. Like at reasonable Thundercross B track level. Ardmore was so packed and fast, he refused to go out and get in the way. Dunno if it was just one mad Wednesday but have steared away from the place till we have done a bit more enduro and Kimis farm MX track riding it was just to much. So instead of 15mins to Whitford its 1+ hours to Huntly. Don't get me wrong the other riders where great but it was like an all in race.
Auckland so badly needs more tracks:scooter:

You will be fine at Harrisville Cheese. Like Scott says you can roll any of the jumps that you don't want to jump. Anyway, Waitemata Club have another Woodhill trailride on this Sunday. How good is that?
Reckless; you probably went out on the ancaz day wednesday, that was insane busy. even some top riders i know didnt enjoy the amount of people out there that day.
a normal wednesday has about 20-30 riders tops. a normal practice sunday might have about 100 +/-
your son would enjoy it much more then. dont let that 1 day put you off.

Cheese looks like GR81 and Danger are telling us to get some balls haha!
But they are quite correct. I think both places would be ok for us mainly due to the other riders good nature at these places. Still not sure about my kids though!
Maybe I did strike a bad day at Ardmore and have been meaning to go out one Wednesday on my own to re-check it out. But it means time off work.
Any of you guys going back out to Waitamata ride at Woodville this Sunday. Not that keen on the Sand, Natural whoops and stumps (prefer dirt) but looking at the weather might be the best choice. Just looked at silver bullet Rodney club is having a clubday as well.

Oh is that WMCC ride the same place as the one 2 weeks ago? I liked that but I'd like to go somewhere different. Mind you with the rain it might be the best option.....

I'll be there Sunday. We should ride this time. Last time I was riding with another group. Knowing the Waitemata boys, they will change the track some. Should be great after the heavy rain we had out west last night.
