Well with it now illegal to discipline your kids, and half the country wanting to blame a corporation for some useless bitches death when really her family were just too fat and lazy to get off their arses to do anything about it, I've decided to get the fuck out of this country before the tree huggers and moaning bitches take it over completely . (the fact i have a hot little dutch missus may have something to do with it too ).
So I'm off to Europe. At the end of this month we're going down the South Island for a couple of months, then in August we fly to the Netherlands via a week in Fiji and 3 weeks in LA. The plan is to spend a year in Amsterdam before moving to Northern Italy, (anyone want some cheap Ducs sent over? ).
Anyway, The important bit: I'm having a farewell ride and pissup on Saturday 16th.
Ride Details: Coro Figure 8
Tauranga crew meet at Tauriko at 0800. RV with Akld and Hamihole lot in Kopu at 1000. Head round the loop anticlockwise, brief stop at coroglen (ofcourse), quick re-group at whitianga then lunch at coromandel. Head to Kopu, Pussies and Honduh riders can go home from there, then on to whangamata and waihi.
All are welcome, tho learners and noobs please remember to ride your own ride, there's no need to try to keep up with others. And I don't suffer fools so any idiot who decides to make a fuckwit of themselves will be told to fuck off.
BBQ & Drinks
After the ride there will be a piss up and BBQ back at my place. It's BYO food and drinks, and the plenty of osp for bikes. (there will be vehicle available for those who need to go to the supermarket).
I'm making this open invitation as well, however the same rule about fuckwits applies as above.
If you need my phone number or address, pm me. Is there anything I've missed?

Failing that, I'll make a call 1st thing in the morning so if it's more than light showers then check on here before you go.

Its been nice doing a few rides with yer in th past Mark and you have certainly left your own stamp on Coro. Unfortunatly I'm riding the boeing on the 16th to Brissy so can't make it. Enjoy Europe and all the fun and excitement that it offers (though I see you have allready figured that for yourself) and stay in touch via the KB site..

First week back at work, totally shagged, go on here after a sleep in and find Mark has arranged a Coro Loop!!!!
Hey mate, I agree about the country and yeah, go for it. Have a great time and look after that nice lady of yours. She's a gem mate and a pleasure to meet. Shame last time we met up wasn't under better circumstances but it would have been real good catching up again.
Too much on today to catch up later but all the best. I've enjoyed our rides around the loop in the last couple of years.
Take care and both of you stay safe :)

At least yours is still in one piece Glen.
Had a little bit off a spill near Coro, Low sided on a RH bend, low speed
so not too much damage and a bruised ego.
Bikes still ridable but needs a few parts and a paint job :weep: :weep:

Saul, I always carry a dog turd kit :)
You just never know. But you can guarantee that a flat will not occur outside your home but way out in the middle of nowhere.
Buy some extra cylinders too as some times you need to blow up the tyre just to find the hole and then you have no more cylinders to pump the sucker up once you plugged it.
Now that is the only time I like dog turds. :)

Bummer about your off mate. :(
I forgot to mention that it's easy to carry around all the neccessities of life on a 1400 with 11 litres of storage space under the seat.
Lets see: full set of waterproofs, full tool kit, bottle of water, dogturd puncture repair kit and scott oiler :)

Yep thats what Spud called it:yes:
This was the first pucture i have ever had on my bikes. Lesson learned. Funny that:innocent:
Olivia um err arrr:innocent: She has a bruise on her arm because of some agressive pointing that she did because of some stock on the (Te Aroha) road.

What a woman to still be in high spirits.. you're a lucky man! (you're a lucky girl for the record Berdien :done: )
Started off nice and early with cooked breakfast then out into the frost, still dark and a bit slippery in places. Collected some dude on a r1 on the way thru vegas, i think his name was Wayne (?).
Had great a great time once the road dried out, heaps of fun at 62mph hanging onto the back of yee old k2... esp loved the bit just before coromandel, really tight with an awesome surface... the run from Kopu - Hikuai was a blast too... the recent cardiovascular training helped me no end
Gutted Glen got a self taping square drive thru the rear tyre, poor bugger = ( and Ralph gixxer got a little rash but coulda been worse eh, hope you are ok man...
Was cool to see my bike go past, at 62mph of course... didnt much enjoy the k2, might have to sort it out for you while you're gone = )
Got really cold on the way home, tinted visor didn't help much either.
Thanks very much for the ride Mark, all the best with your adventures abroad, look after each other and keep in touch

All in all it was a great day! Started out with me ready to go a little early thinking what am I going to do now?! stood around looked at the clock, warmed up Goblins bike ( K!) and off to tauriko! Yeehaa!!!! Left the guys a little early to scoot down and get to Korns before the others and grab his warm gloves. Unfortunatly for me the cows wanted a peice of the action and tried hitching a lift! After fending of their advances ( with the front guard ) Then some stern pointing and colourful words to the hapless farmer. Dusting the bike off the farmers mate came to ask me if there was anything he could do... Colourfuly I asked him who was going to pay for the bike, then explained that it was lucky I was going so slow in the first place and if I had been doing even 120 or a car at 120 it would have ended worse, (let alone my mates who are flying down the road behind me at .... eerhem speeds) So 2much pulled out the duck tape and off we went, quick stop at korns for a ciggy and off to Kopu, found my groove thing through to Coroglen and then paced with G....
Off to the party that night where I proceeded to have a few quiets. Awesome night 2much, was great to catch up with people I hadn't seen in a while.
Take care out there and keep in touch.
