This is your chance to get off your wimpy Honda and get a real bike for less money.

Right, obligatory Honda bashing complete.

Buy my GSXR 750 and make me and you happy people. This is a win-win situation for all of us.

It's on Trademe, so bid away.

Reason for selling? I'm looking for a change. There is nothing wrong with this bike, and I am going to regret selling it.

What a stunning bike, love the photo of it infront of the pub. Pity about 2 silly faults, Im sure Hondas have faults too. Best of luck with the sale, I hope one day I can own a bike as awesome as yours.

Good luck with the sale.

Great TM auction description and photos, especially the one on the track.

You made one small typo where you say the K7 blue and white does not look as good :msn-wink:

with a lean angle and chicken strips like that i do believe you shouldn't be slagging anyone off.. never mind Honduh riders... BwaahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahaOh yes, one part of the reason for selling it so I can finish off my Honda and ride around on my Honda doing Honda Riders Club days and singing the Honda song etc. Also, when I am riding my Honda I will come over to your place (On my Honda) and you can sandpaper my Honda's tyres so I don't have chicken strips.

And then we will make love.

But seriously, if you want woman to want you and men to be like you, buy my GSXR.
If you want to be like a woman and want men, keep your Honda.

Auction didn't get any bites.

I'm going to re list it tomorrow with a lowered reserve. Unless someone PMs me an offer. :)

It's not motorcycle buying weather really.

What are you lookin to get next?

A DR650 or something like that. I've ridden most of the country on the road a couple of times. I've seen the photos of the off-tarmac roads and there are some interesting places out there that I simply can't venture on the GSXR.

Also, that will free up money for finishing the conversion of my RVF400 to a race bike so I can get beaten left in the dust on the race track too.

It's either sell it or more debt :)

That is a cheap GSXR750. IMHO you didn't need to lower the reserve in order to sell it... it's more of a matter of time and finding the right buyer than a matter of price. We had the same thing when I worked at a car yard - desirable cars priced stupidly cheap and still not selling... it's all a case of the right buyer coming along.

Some of the negative stuff, like the anti scratch sticky plastic covers on the rear plastics... remove the stuff and then you won't have to mention it in the auction. Anything that's an easy fix and doesn't take you much effort, take care of it, the less negative stuff (even if you're being really honest) in the ad the better.

I'd take it off your hands... but it's way too early and too much bike for me I reckon. Even after riding one and having a bast (yea it was a K6), I know it'd be too much for me to own at this stage.

Don't worry about it, it will sell easily enough, just a matter of time. There's not that many near-new-but-still-used bike buyers around at this time of the year.
