So I crashed the Daytona:nono: All my fault. No excuses.
Anyway I'm looking for either a full 3-1 system, or slip on mufflers that would suit.
I've got my feelers out, but any advise/comments would be welcomed.
Expensive race systems arn't required, and looking at spending about a 1K.

Yep, a bit more.
Bikes stripped now. Forks tubes pretty bent, but hopefully will straighten.
Frames appears ok. Right muffler torn. Shock may as well be in the bin (Hagons are cheap as shit). Few other little things. Gotta get a dent rolled out of the front wheel....blah blah blah.
Been in touch with R Taylor. Once the forks are straightened, he will do his magic, and supply a rear shock.
Thought about "patching and selling", but I would regret it.
Fuck knows how we both walked away from that "off". Scary shit.

Thanks for the info Archer. So starts another winter project.
Foot is still sore, my bones are probably made by Hagon.:shit:

Bugger.

For the exhust Custom Chambers (http://www.supermotard.co.nz/MC%20Stuff/Custom%20Chambers%20index.htm) in East Tamaki might be worth having a talk to

Heya, hope the ankle is doin better.

If the muffler is just torn a few places could reclad it. Try talk to Damon at Cycleworks in wgtn. He has a neat gery pattern finish that could look pretty cool.

Try having a look here. http://www.bikebandit.com/partsbandit/oem-nav.asp?submit_from_stage=4&section_dept_id=1&model_dept_mfr=Triumph&model_dept_name=DAYTONA

OEM stuff like the indicators should be a crap load cheaper than anything local. Let us know how you get on. Couldn't remember the details (cc's etc) so I couldn't do a proper check.

Cheers,

Like we were saying - "Adrenaline is a wonderful drug" Just wish I could bottle it and use it on demand.

Drove back to the corner this morning. (in the cage, weather dictated).
Found the detached indicator. In mint condition.
Reviewed my approach etc. Yup I fucked up.:nono:
On the return drive, a cage had driven into the edge of a small concrete bridge. Three patrol cars were on traffic detail, while the St Johns Angels worked on the trapped occupants. Spine tingling deja vue moment. People please take care on winter roads. Especially the country ones. Oh, and watch out for neutral cambered, slightly declining 65kph right handers.
