Very good
Did ya see all the coppas parked up on the hairpin?
I wonder how many tickets get issued there??
Other than in the villages there aren't any speed limits. You can still get tagged for being stoopid though!

What a great piece of video - took me a while to download on a very slow satellite broadband system but really worth it.
The guy just rides beautiful lines and really shows up the bad lines of many of the riders he passes - good lessons there
Does anyone know if that was a standard GS1150 he was on (spose it was a "he") - it did sound a bit warmed up.
Shame it was hard to read the speedo - f'ing quick whatever it was

Yeah, some nice lines. Not a lot of room for errors. Could really get a grip on the speeds, but he's just about redlining in 6th on some of the backroads. I'd say he's probably pushing about 180k or so. This would mean that he's probably had some mods done. He's really quick through all the gears - note that he reels in all those that get by him in some of the towns. :bye:

Yep, they're a pretty good handling machine.
For those not familiar with the dash of the 1150...

I thought the video has it on MPH rather than KPH like in your photo.
Still in the video you can pick up where 100 MPH is (about 2 o'clock). Mind you just on the same spot where 160 KPH is in your photo...:dodge: doh!
Anyway, I was impressed with how light he was on the brakes, must be all the braking torque that those puppies have.

Wouldn't worry about it too much. Last I heard the Tourist was in Ausi on his way back home to England so he wont complain to loudly. I was just making to most of my first opportunity to dig about reposting :D

They must get tons of fatal accidents, police were probably just waiting for the little shit on that 400 or whatever it was, to face plant a truck, how many times did he cross the centre line? The Beemer rider wasn't doing much better either.

On mad sunday the mountain section is one way so there is no traffic coming the other direction and it's safe to cross the line.
Anybody notice the total lack of front end dive under brakes??? Gotta love the telelever front end on Beemers. You don't use up any suspension travel under brakes.
