If you actually expected to see some action, yes. If you know the characters though....

Am I the only one that cringed and had to switch it off?
"I'll punch you out later"
Nice...

Characters? Whoever put that abomination together must be "in the scene" and his editor a lazy bastard.

Scene? NZ doesn't have a fucking "scene" it just wishes it did.....a couple of blokes try to drum up some publicity and it's whinge, whinge, whinge....is it just jealousy that it's a Pom and a Jeerman on the teev?

I just wonder how much better the article would've been if it had been another shop the TV man had walked into. If Neil had pointed the TV man towards some people that had kicked off the racing four years ago.. I wonder..
The publicity didn't drum up anybody to turn up at Mt Wellington today.

I don't wonder at all, I'm not big mates with Gazzer or Goetz or owt, but I still reckon they're the best we've got in the way they put across their own enthusiasm for scooters.

Were you in the same Auckland that I was? The weather will always win on the day regardless of the amount of publicity any event gets...

Hey guys,
I have watched all the scooter racers out at Mt Welly for the last 18mths.
You guys are not only great you are also totally mad. I couldnt believe my eyes at first when I saw how fast you went. You fall off, get back up and off again. Crazy stuff, but you certainly dont get any recognition or publicity outside the race group.
That is usual for NZ though, always has been. If you dont play the "NORMAL"
sports, then you dont exist.
The weather wasnt that bad down there, they just too sooky to come down.
Keep putting threads/pics on here guys and invite anyone you can to come down on race days. Our own publicity is better than anyone elses.

I think Kevin won both races. Matt won the championship. Ideal people for the TV to have interviewed..
