Mrs KD took the first photo of me a few weeks ago, I took the second photo of her today, same corner. Decided to have a play and came up with this, think it's not too bad... for an amateur. Especially as it looks like I'm carving her up around the outside!! :bye: :innocent:

looks good but it looks more like you went wide and are about to be owned on the inside :dodge:

Not bad at all for an amatuer, the road on the leftside of your bike is the giveaway.
You could just try clear cutting your bike and body, and literally pasting onto the other pic, maybe with a bit of resizing, and then applying shadow is pretty easy, not sure about in photoshop, but in paint shop pro.
:D

Ahhh, well spotted!!
I have to wonder if whoever designed those three corners was/is a biker, because they really are fun, and so handy to home!
There was a cop down on Newlands road pulling up speeding cars when we were mucking about this morning, he got three in the short time we were down there. He barely batted an eye at us, which was cool, half expected him to come over and ask what we were up to, not that I was breaking any land speed records :innocent:

Hard not to scrap the pegs on my bike as the ground clearance aint the flashest....anyway,once you lean a bike over far enough whats it gonna do but scrap something?

Yep, round the helmet was really bad, so I got rid of that. But I didn't have the patience to do the rest of the image.

Don't ask her to cook some eggs, that's all I'm gonna say.
Take another look at the picture (you got the perfectionist side of me going)

Back of the helmet where it meets the shoulder and the shadow needs tidying...

Very good :) Still too much 'halo' but the lighting and colour is better... (Me really picky).
Subtle things count. Did you notice that my retouch had both headlights shining on the road. The brain doesn't 'see' things like that but does notice if it's not there. And vice versa.
I could give a full list of 'errors' but you don't work for me!
What you've done is still really good.

Thanks for the hints and tips, this is my final go at this picture.
But I have tried a picture with people as a new challenge (just for you Col)
