hey all.
A few days ago i got a new jacket.
i was after something warm, waterproof, light, styly, flexable and strong. Guess what i found what i wanted.
It was a rev'it jacket, the model is RIDER i've already hit a car in it and it stood up to it to my suprise snice its not leather. I've already been caught in the rain and the cold and night and i stayed warm and dry in it. i love wearing it because it looks so good. the fit of it is the best, so comfortalbe and you have so much movement in it.
everone at work the other day was trying it on because they liked the look of it and they all liked wearing it aswell. the price of it was $440rrp but i got it a bit cheaper from my mates at Boyd Honda in Hamilton.
If this sounds like what you want i reconmend it very highly, i liked it more than anything alpinestar makes.
i see REV'IT going places very fast in the future if thy keep this up, everyone i know that owns anything by rev'it love it.
my next step is to replace my leather with some new rev'it one that i tryed on and loved.
untill next time hava good 1.:Punk:  :scooter:

I have Rev'It everything, other than boots. Two-piece leathers, two-piece cordura, gloves and even Rev'It "riding socks". Great quality, great fit (I'm no slimmer of the year, so anything by Alpinestars or Dainese was either way too tight or way too long) and no complaints so far.
The leather stood up very well to the one minor off I've had, but my passage across the tarmac was aided by the large pool of diesel that had caused me to come off in the first place.
If you're wondering about the riding socks ... they were free, and just about worth the money.

I got some Rev'it waterproofs (jacket and pants to go over leathers) at Motomail the other day. Haven't used them yet, but time will tell. They seem nice enough.

I replaced my old Dririder jacket with a Rev'It Ignition and it's bloody fantastic.
Removeable rain and thermal liners mean it's great in summer but also works well in the cold and wet conditions. Hasn't leaked despite being caught out in heavy rain.
Like it so much I've splashed out on a pair of their winter gloves.

That jacket looks brilliant. The best features of leather with the best features of codura.
I have a pair of the REV'IT H20 gloves and they're great. Not the warmest gloves as they don't have all the bulky thermal lining but I'd rather have cool hands and still be able to feel the grips.
I've got my eye on a pair of the REV'IT Factor pants so I better get those before I splash out the ~6 hundy for the Ignition jacket.

Yeah, not the cheapest jacket at first glance, but with the removable liners it's a genuine year round piece of kit. Cool as in summer, (awesome vents) and warm and dry in winter.

I have been looking at importing some gear from the US the gear itself is dirt cheap but once you add an additional US$145 to ship a jacket over it is almost more hastle than its worth.
Can anyone shed some light on which retailers stock Rev'it gear aside from the two listed on the Rev'it site, it would be nice to shop around.... after all who wants to pay full retail if you dont have to.

I bought a 2 piece Rev'IT RS2 suit about 8 months ago, since then its held its shape perfectly and only had slight dye fade (from riding from taupo to blenheim in pissing rain!). Last sunday I hit some black ice just out of nelson and the suit handled it beyond my expectations! it was a low speed low side and there are slight scuffs all up the right hand side, that you can bearly see, but where they put the padding and all the extra strong bits worked a treat and kept me safe!
Well worth the 1800$ for it, and gave me great confidence in the product, Ill deff buy another Rev'it suit when it need one.. primo!

I've got one of these Rev'it tops and it's soooo good. It doesn't come in a womans size but I just got the small mens and it fits like a glove (I prefer the term "athletic" to "flat chested"). I have vents in my jacket that are too effective in the winter and this thing blocks pretty much all of the wind. My partner payed $100 at Wellington MC's for it at xmas and to be honest I reckon it's worth twice that. It has windproof/showerproof fabric around the neck and the front and down the front of the arms, with breathable fabric down the back and under arms. The zip is down the side/front of the neck so it doesn't get in the way and has a wee tab to stop it scratching your neck. The arms are nice and long and are cut in a riding position and yet surprisingly don't feel uncomfortable when you've stopped for a break.
These photo's are not of me, for I am a girl (clarification for you PF:dodge:)

Ive got REV'IT codura pants, just perfect, very warm, completely water proof (a lot better than my spyke jacket)
I'll probably be going for rev'it gear for my next jacket too.

I bought the REV'IT Ignition jacket about a week or so ago. BTW: the black one is the male version and the 80's cricket colour is the ladies one.
It really feels strong and is generally warm. But my forearms got a little cold, so I removed the very inner jacket piece and I've been wearing a sweatshirt under it on the cold mornings. It is great now.
Only two small things are that the front of the collar tends to dig in under my chin (but I'm hoping that will soften up) and the cuffs on the sleeves are quite thick so it takes a bit of positioning to get my gloves over them (and they are REV'IT gloves too).
Wife likes the look of me in it so that is a plus.

Probably the best bit of kit I've brought in years and dont know why I've never had anything like it. As well as keeping everything snuggly it reduces wind noise in the helmet.
Most recommended with all this tropical weather we're having.
Amd I've seen osmr of the Revit jackets in moto-Gp at the mount and they look flash!
