It's a bit of a gamble buying tickets for Bob Dylan more than a few days in advance, isn't it?

I'm thinking about it.
Have you heard the new Bryan Ferry album. Only Bob Dylan covers. On high rotation at Chez Mully.

Bob Dylan is one of the classic rockers from way back........spent many a night slumped over the local bar, tapping the feet and fingers away to his tunes. Aggh the good old days. Revisited.
Be a bloody good concert.
:gob: is he still alive :dodge:

Dude,
I went to a Dylan/Petty double bill in the late eighties and Bob fell off the stage due to complete stonage

You old farts (tm)
Well before my time but I never really got into Dylan. Seekers & Cat Stevens prolly my favorite artists from that era.

I'm not going to die in a ditch over him either but the difference is Bob kept goin'... Some of his new stuff is actually very (very) good and while he has had some 'lows' he has still produced at least one great album every decade from the 60's..... Impressive stuff...

More importantly about Bob - he's a biker.
Had a bad crash on his Triumph in the 60s too.

Jeeze..... It was a music gaf... Eric Clapton wrote a famous song called 'Cocaine'.
Last concert i went to and the last albums have been very good BUT if you are not a Bob Dylan fan - don't go - you won't like it and why waste the money?

Ahem. JJ Cale wrote it, Eric performed one of the more famous covers...
Dylan's another one of those Keith Richards / Lemmy types that actually died twenty years ago, but nobody thought to tell them.

hey, even if the performance is "rubbish" as RM said (though i doubt it will be) I'll enjoy it... the atmosphere, the LEGEND! up on stage, the friends, the EVERYTHING!! ... aah... i cant wait... and Bob is going strong! he's made excellent music throughout the decades, and is still producing quality in every street! and even if he has been utterly stoned a few times on stage, that doesn't mater, because he is his own person, and i admire him for that :D
go BOB!
