Well! It's done! I'm about to go and hand in my final essay for this semester of Uni.

Those of you who know me will know how challenging I've found being at Uni, this year (my 4th & final) being absolutely NO exception. I'm doing a Bachelor of Social Work.

I think my lowest point was dissolving into a blubbering mess last Sunday night when my Internet connection wouldn't work. I had no exams this semester but 3 HUGE essays, all 3 were between 3500 to 4000 words and all due within a 1 week period. I handed in 2 last Tues & final 1 is due today and I even managed to finish it a little early.

My partner has been an absolute darling to me and just left me to study and basically done everything...including putting up with me being a complete bitch at times!

So all I have to do now is get through my final semester which is almost entirely practical. The end is nigh and it's all goooooood!!:Punk:

Huzzah! Well, I think you should start planning a trip overseas to celebrate. You could even take that shiftless young Australian man with you (you know, the one with the Welsh name and the funny accent).

You know: somewhere really miserable, grey and cold should do it. I mean, who needs to relax on sunsoaked beaches when there are places with stunted wee Scottish lassies who'll ply you with gin and then pressure you into visiting ill reputed establishments?

You'll be sweet as Trudes - just get that Mr Kendog to do everything and let him know that STRESS will happen! And of course you'll always have me to help. :)

I have but I think he's just relieved to see me smiling again rather than looking like I'm about to murder him.

:eek5: Brought back some nightmares for myself reading your post - oh wait, I'n still in it! (Writing reports and marking exams at the moment ... just done, so I know how relieved you feel! :sweatdrop)

Good to hear that you ground your way through the pile of work, drafting, annotating, referencing and making the final submission copy! In multiples! :gob:

Now that is one shitty workload, kudos to your and your support team! Take a breath and onto the next project!

Awesome work! I know exactly how you feel! I am doing my education degree (so I would think some of the stuff would over lap slightly) and today I had my first day at a school! I am here for 7 weeks... and I have to take the class for atleast 3 on my own!! - Practical is so much more interesting than essays and theories!

Yep, always better on practicum - makes all those praxis and learning theories bearable! Just remember never to turn your back, count out all your resources and count them back in and make friends quickly with the admin staff and caretaker (trust me on this!) :msn-wink:

And the best thing to remember? No matter how bad your day is, at least you don't have to go home with those students who make your life hell! :devil2:

I haven't been introduced to them yet, as we had duty at lunch and morning tea... oooh duty is such a bore!!!!
But yes, and it is good to be clued up on everything now so I can hold an educational conversation with my associate!!
