James ML aka 'The Clockwork Mouse'
Designed to be dropped with airbourne troops in WW2 (came in a open crate / frame thingy). After WW2, heaps of them were 'civilianised' to meet the huge demand for any form of personal transport....
BASIC - slow and not terribly steady would be my guess....

I've seen one, ridden a 50's version and silently wondered how the heck the Allies ever won the war. Given some of these things may have landed on a careless German soldier (dropped by parachute) one can only imagine that the only other positive effect would have been a few of them collapsing with laughter at the sight of it....

Just stunned at the response here people, well done to the two of you, bling awarded to both.
It is in fact the James ML 1943 122.
OUTSTANDING!
Might do another one tomorrow, really test you.
Of course it does bear a passing resemblance to a not so modern Guzzi but, only the young would be fooled by it.
