A spot of verbal jousting - excellent!
Righto -to arms!

I have about 2 liters of Castrol R in the shed (it's true I tell you).
Sounds like you might be able to use it to clean your system out. It's no longer of any use to me.
Should I bring it?

I don't think that has been sorted yet but it will probably be something like Summit BP at 10am or so. Depends on if people want to do a decent length ride before hand or not.

I know I will but doubt I'll be able to afford more than over the hill and back.

Not yet. Still wont start. It's turning over now but not firing up. Probably need starter fluid to spray into the air filter.
It may also just need the spark plugs cleaned but that requirs me to take the airbox off. more work than I really want to do tonight.

Now that's not what you said to me at the pub mate.....:blip:

must be that flip top head they were talking about

That and those jelly knee pads he has had inserted inside his leathers :innocent:

enjoyed the "low speed manoeuvring" testing that went on between Mville and Okoroire

We try to include at least some different learning experiences on our rides....interesting to see how sprotsbikes do off road eh?

Many thanks to Maha and Mom - the HTFU pill worked a treat and poor Rosey is sulking in the garage after I kinda sorta unleashed throttle hell on her (well, so far as you can on a ZZR two fiddy...!)

Awesome day!

Mate you should be very proud of yourself! Mind you that is the first time we have missplaced a TEC in......forever! That pill you bought is a goody, more two fiddy riders should consider a bigger Maha trip too, perhaps you could buy in bulk and on sell (all profits to me of course :dodge: ) BTW I just remembered it is your birthday!! Happy Birthday mate, be glad I did not realise at the Oki cos I sing really badly!!

thank god for sterring dampiners.
From all accounts you guys have the super power called ability to fly!!!!!!

Hows the knickers Wendy??

Enjoyable day, cruisey few hrs at the office and a good turn out of bikes to look over, NICE

Yeper and nice idea to come for a trip to our Sunday office too.......Puhoi :Punk: but the food service is part of its charm :innocent:

I thnk its more colder inside my place than outside lol. DO I want to go back to bed and get snuggly warm?? Nah :Punk:

Kitty mate!!! sorry you missed a beaut day, we saw you stopped on the motorway, were in the fast lane and only noticed you at the last mo.......saw you on your cell phone so figured you had help on the way, confirmed when we arrived at Autobahn. PM me your mobile number eh sweets, would have loved to have checked with you personally to make sure you were ok!

BTW that new chain oiler you were trialling on your loaner bike seems to be over spec. I hear it oils the rear tyre as well, and you still manage to stop unharmed!! Let me know you are ok, OK!

NELLO!

DUE to technicial failure of Phoenix's bike I was unable to ride!

Um...er....I was going down the motorway minding my own business....then saw something flick out the corner of my left eye. Lost traction on the rear tyre, so I thought I must have snapped the chain.

The rear tyre starts to do its own thing, eeep! Came to an emergency stop and the bike spilled its guts everywhere, broken engine parts, and oil pissed out...

Came close to binning it, wont mention what speed I was doing when it happend but put it down to a little experience for controlling it. Was scary!

After making a couple of phone calls, and watching other bikers ride past (while I was wanting to just get on and ride not making a scene ) I moved the bike forwards and started it again.

Yup she fires, but no wait more oil comes gushing out the bottom.

Wait wait wait for Phoenix to turn up..........

Ok so I now have help. We strip off the fairings to put the bike in the back of his station wagon. Now have a slight problem...we couldnt lift it (bloody deadweight)

So after we stood there with a bike leaning up against the car two others came and gave us a hand.

That's my day stuffed :c But it happens. See yas at the next one:Punk:

Came home through the Hunuas.
Bit of a mistake ..... sunstrike + shady corners = no idea where the road is.
Rode accordingly, so no pucker points. It sorta kills the point of going that way though.
Entertaining day - good company - quickish trip home - all good.

Hehe thanks, Just keep riding is how I see it:shutup: There were no "oh shit" moments at all, an answered question as to what happend with the chain, which little did I know at the time it was an oil/engine problem.

I took off the air filter, and pottered around. Took the broken parts to my mechanic, and he said its the con rod and piston which was broken. When I explained that theres a crack at the front of the engine, with a nicely styled bullet hole he suggested I need a new engine.

So Mission now is to really strip it down, and get a new engine and drop it in.
