am laying a concrete slab down for a shed 3.3m x 3.3m am moving next week & the place I'm moving to doesn't have a shed or garage. I've got the shed organised but just have to lay the conrete slab down. I have 6 40kg bags of cement but am thinking it won't be enough

better get someone who knows what they are going...laying concrete is not just a matter of putting it on the ground,if its not level..you will get water lying on it...bit late when its gone hard

No it won't be. We just layed a 1 by 2 by 0.15m pad, used I think 14 20kg bags.... You use alot. If you know the density volume is mass/denisty.
Your area (havnt given a height) is going to be 10.89 square meters. If your height is 0.100 your volume is going to be 1 cubic meter = a lot more than it sounds.
To give you an idea, in my uni paper, i had to work out the concrete volume for 6900kgs, it came to 3 cubic meters......... Find the densisty of the concrete, and the height - i'll tell you how much you will need. (but check with somone who knoes stuff, uni students get it wrong every now and again :innocent: ).

totaly understand where your coming from. I've got a mate coming over on monday who use to lay concrete for a job years ago so he's gonna show me how to do it. Just wanted to have all the stuff before he came over. Just to save wasting his time
