Hi Stu, Tim suggested I look at some of your recent trips and pic's.
I'm a returning biker, have just purchased a 2006 BMW 650 Dakar and getting some practise in before heading off on some wk-end run's.
I look forward to catching up with you at some stage.
Cheers,
Laurie.

Hello there, welcome to KB, I'm surprised you're introducing yourself to the Timaru man specifically rather than us Christchurch lot in general.
If you're free on the 1st July you could come meet some of us on a gentle ride from the Waimak Bridge out to Oxford.
I'm sure it will be a gentle ride because it's one mans first adventure after recovering from a neck injury so he should be easing back in to it.
Here are the details. (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=51855)
Dont be shy we don't bite.

Easing back into it you recon? :D Yep it will be a resonably quite one but I'm going to see what I can handle on the tracks rather than just stay on the gravel roads.
Most welcome to come along Laurie.
Cheers R
