For those that are interested I have loaded images from the Manfeild round into my gallery. So navigate to the jimbo600 gallery and there they'll be. If you want a full size image PM me your email address and a file number and I'll send one too you, free of charge cos I'm such a good cunt. Albeit a little arrogant being a Welly crew and all that.

Jimbo's photos are excellent. I know another Professional was there and made himself known to us, this guy offers prints 6x4 prints at the following meeting(s). Main site is www.speedsport.co.nz but need to work your way through to get to the Rd2 ones which are here:

Gonna have to ask my pit bitch to take some for me at the next round or I'll have nothing to show my grandkids when I'm old and wrinkly!

Might sound like a stupid question but erm, how do you get your photo taken?

I competed in the one race at Taupo and all three races on Saturday but it seems not one photographer managed to get a shot of me. Erm, which is a little gutting cos I don't have a photo of my first ever motorbike race, or even my second.

I asked the photographer beforehand on Saturday to try and get one of me but it seems that they weren't able to manage this. Were there other photographers there other than the ones who posted up pics/links on this thread?

Erm, so how come that's happened? Does anyone know? It's kinda disappointing as I wanted to look at my riding style and where I am going wrong etc, and build up a portfolio which hopefully shows my improvements as I get more experience...

Meh. Sorry if this sounds like a moan. I just like pictures.

Here's a novell idea: Why not check the photos you like from the trackside, then note who posted them, then try PM-ing them with something along the lines of:
"Hi, I'm no#_ _, could you please take my picture?"
D'ya think that might work, yeah?

Well I don't go to take photos of everyone, I'm just there for one or two dudes who ask me to go such as Deano/Whitetrash etc. However, if you see me at the track again with my camera gear (I don't always take it) come see me and I'll make sure I get a couple of shots of ya.

That's Jay Lawrence (JayRacer). We think he's decided that winning's too easy so he's going for Style Points with a high degree of difficulty. He was leading the race at the time, about 3 bike-lengths I think. He obviously added too much power, the back stepped out then bit hard and the high-side was the result.

Look at the slow-mo and see just how valuable the (compulsory) back protector is :)

Here are some pics I took which may be of interest. My son's bike is #161 (Gunner) - he had a pretty good day racing his first season in Clubmans: got a 3rd in Race 1, 1st in Race 2, then had to pull out of Race 3 when a footrest broke (would have been a perfect day if not for that). We shared a pit with Possum41 and Bistard (thanks guys). In the pit next door were some of the 150's, plus Clivoris.

Nope, a standard 8-wire and batton fence. So to melt the cordura I must have slid along it hard n fast to get the friction. No wonder the left side is all sore :)

Hi Glenn from speedsport Images here did you try the search function, type in your race number and see what comes up, we have 1721 images from the 1st 2 rounds I would hope to have at least one of each bike.

The below is from the header of the VMCC page.

To view photos of your bike, type your bike number into the search engine.
Use the Advanced Search option (http://www.gtp.co.nz/main.php?g2_view=search.SearchScan&g2_form%5BuseDefaultSettings%5D=1&g2_return=main.php%3Fg2_itemId%3D122274&g2_returnName=album) only tick the (Search keywords box)
If you want to see the crash pics from the day type in (crash)

Contact Darryl Seymour from Wanganui. 06 344-4964.
He was at round 2 and if you ring him he can tell if he has any of you.
He does not have a website that i know of but he gives you a picture with , the race, the date , your name , your class where you finished in that race, and what the meeting was . Thats the mark of a good photogropher.
Hes very good and cheaper than all the rest ive come across.
