Sorry W/One, but may I be the first to say, that if you buy a CBR600RR over that sexy, SEXY machine. You are in fact, quite gay.

I would still take the blade if I had a choice of a 4 cylinder 1K. Then again I may be slightly biased... ;)

And in the States, a black I is $100 more than a standard 1! Is there going to be a premium here as well?

I see an imminent booming business in westies with black spray cans waiting outside Yamaha dealerships.

Yum. Not complete though. Needs carbon fibre discs (closer to black), black anodised rear sets, Blacked out indicators, carbon fibre mufflers (blackish) with no badges (don't want to dtract from being black), dark smoke tinted screen, Black anodised sprockets and black levers. And any silver bolt you can find on it needs replacing with black anodised "pro bolts". Any perhaps (professionally done) the tiniest off grey silver fern subtley painted onto the belly pan (not too big now).....so you can only see it in certain lights....that would be a neat touch.

Neither would the pigs as you smoked your way through the night (wearing totally black riding gear too of course), or the people who would surely try to steal it.....

Don't worry, that deep red colour on your bike looks mint. Plus your colour is no where near as common as the Blue and every tom, dick and WKID1 will want the black version.
Consider yourself an individual :Punk:

Yeah he could do that....

IF HE WAS GAY...

But he's not so he'll be trading in on the first one to arrive. Of course this will cause a catfight with w1. To which I'll happly sell ring side seats (gotta get money for a 'new' bike somehow). :killingme

But what about all the nutters in cages I want them to see me or at very least hear me, Before I end up imprinted on their bumper.

Guys Guys,Gals and Gays, you fashion followers are the manufacturers target audience. Rip off riders plan; Release bike year One + change colour year two (cheap makeover) = more sales. They're working together to screw every cent out of us. This black makeover thing is a passing fad. Check out last months Performance Bike, cool lookin GSR1 all in black. Then Wkid posts, cool pics of, you guessed it, next year's all black CBR6 &CBR1 and then its the TNT, now R1s turn. I smell a scam. So there's no need to all change to black Ok.
Unrelated matter. Who can recommend a cool bike paint shop?

COOOOL!

See this is where you are wrong - I had photoshopped the R1 in to black. And this is one of the reasons I wanted the CBR because it was black and silver. To me, the black R1 is the bollocks because I want a black bike. Hell a black ZX10, Black GSXR etc would be fine....it just seems no one does a black bike these days.

Slingshot - you are actually incorrect - if you talk to Yam - the Deep Red colour is the most common colour presently being sold by Yam worldwide!
